They were great! On time, nothing damaged, and would use them again!!

The person who scheduled the move was very flippant and interupptive upon trying to confirm the details of the move. He was very dismissive of me and my move. The day of the move, the movers went to the wrong address because they were given the wrong zip code; this error made them about 2 1/2 hours late. 2 of the 3 movers were bickering back and forth amongst themselves for the entierity of the move. They did not cooperate with my requests and instructions and caused problems with the building I was moving into by leaving most of my boxed belongings in the hallway for a long period of time, causing the building manager to address me. They also broke an item of mine, which one of the movers promised he would fix upon arrival at the apartment. When I asked him to fix it, he said there wasn't time and refused to fix it, even though he promised. The owner did honor a 25% discount because of all the trouble and unprofessionalism. The superintendent of the building I moved into was appalled based on his own observation of the movers behavior. I would never use this company again.

They came and gave estimate right away. Very polite and responsive to all questions (also very patient). They were fast as well as careful.

Provider was very responsive.  However, their cost was not the lowest.

Can't say anything bad about these guys. Estimate was fair, and the actual price came in below the estimate. They showed up on time and were professional and courteous. All of our furniture and belongings arrived safely and not a single piece was damaged. Couldn't ask for anything better.

We can't say enough good things about this moving company. They moved our one bedroom apartment plus a large storage room from Stamford to Old Greenwich. Someone came for an estimate a week before the move. They also accomodated our Sunday move. The movers were really efficient. They actually finished earlier than the estimated time so we got charged less than the quote provided. I would highly recommend them and use them again.

Nothing was lost or broken. They put tape on a cabinet which left a mark.When we called them they sent a worker who cleaned

There was no additional charge when we changed our plans and decided to move to Sarasota instead of Jacksonville. The delivery went smoothly and there were no major damages to furniture or boxes. There were at times some communications problems but all & all everybody was professional and met or exceeded expectations.

Outstanding.  Larry was prompt, courteous, offered ways we could save money on packing.  He offered us a price well below the other three movers we got quotes from.  The movers were efficient, kind and courteous to us and our neighbors.  When we got our stuff from storage, it was all there, in great condition.  The men were incredibly kind and offered to relocate things.  When they totaled the hours, it was higher than the rate we locked in and they honored the rate quoted rather than what the work was actually worth (we thought that quote was low!)  We recommended them to three other families so far and all three went with them as well. Truly outstanding professionals.

While scheduling was a bit rough because I didnt receive a confirmation email, the process was smooth and the actual move went off without a hitch. They made sure all of my furniture and belongings were packed and properly placed in the storage unit. I will use again when I move into my new home.

Larry Patterson came to apartment and gave us an estimate guaranteed not to exceed $1,247.00 but if all goes well and the movers do it in less time the price can go down accordingly. The three men who moved us were  professional in there attatude and knew what they were doing. They were  courtious and took special care to pack every item. There was no damage and all items were covered and protected much better than I thought they would be. It did take less time and the price was adjusted. I would use them again and highly reccomend this company. They all cared what they were doing and today that is hard to find.

We interviewed five movers - three made the final cut.  One was less expensive with very little information, one was move expensive with a great deal of marketing information but the proposal/ estimate was incorrect.  Arthur Werner's was accurate, informative, and timely.
When we called the office, the phone was answered professionally and timely.  Information was accurate and clearly communicated.  Denzil came to our home to provide an estimate.  He obviously knew his business and provided a tremendous amount of confidence. The proposal was fair and informative.  Denzil followed up by e mail to ask if I had any questions.  I asked if he would bind the proposal, yes 10% over.  He told me several times, the more prepared we are, the smoother the move will go.  We did a lot of prep but .....
At 8:50 am, I received a call telling me the truck hit heavy traffic and they would be a few minutes late for the 9 am schedule.  They arrived about 9:25 am.  The four men were polite, productive, professional, and worked non stop.  At 12:30 pm the truck was packed.  We gave the men beverages and money for lunch.  I said, We'll meet you at 2 pm - No, we will be there at 1:30 pm.  Okay.  At 1:30 pm, my cell phone rang, the men were there with the truck at the destination.  We were 5 minutes behind them, driving a car with no stops!
The unload was so efficient, I was shocked.  I color coded the boxes according to delivery location.  One piece of furniture did not make the angle through the door for the room I had planned.  The men worked fifteen minutes on that one piece before telling me, it was not going to happen.  The move was completed by 4:30 pm.  
The bill was under the proposal amount.  We had previously provided a credit card. (I was surprised at the amount of movers that wanted cash.)  The men were delightful to spend the day with; appreciative of being provided beverages, lunch, respect, humor, and tips.  The men made fun of my hand writing along with my husband!  My husband and I could not have asked for a better experience.  Talk about team work and professionalism.  I have already recommended Arthur Werner!  By the way, Denzil was on vacation the week we moved, he still e mailed me to make sure everything was okay

As I said before, they were excellent and very quiet and efficient.

They did a great job.

Prior to the moving date, the company provided a certificate of insurance to the management company for the building and made arrangements to use the freight elevator. The crew was on time and immediately started to pack everything, asking which items should go together. All furnishings, dishes, etc. were packed thoroughly - no items broke or were damage. They delivered everything to the new location and placed all furniture where directed. Excellent service.

The service provided by Arthur Werner was excellent.  The sales rep provided quick service, visiting my apartment within a day of my request for an estimate.  He was responsive throughout the estimate, scheduling, and moving process, and provided what I thought was a fair and easy to understand estimate.
One the day of the move, the moving crew arrived ten minutes early, and were actively engaged in the move at the exact start time that was promised.  They were professional and courteous, and worked quickly and effectively, with not a single glitch, bump, or incident.  One issue with removing a large piece of furniture through a small doorway was quickly resolved.  Once the moving truck was loaded, they met me at the destination in New Jersey in a timely manner.  They had the truck unloaded so quickly, that they revised the estimated time of the move downward, and reimbursed me $310.
I could not be more satisfied with the service I received from Arthur Werner, and would not hesitate to use them in the future.

I came down the stairs 5 til 10:00 and there was a card on the door meaning they were already there.  I called Larry, name on the card, he was very defensive say they were there.  He was very unprofessional by yelling at me.  I asked my neighbor later and they said they were at my house early at 9 am.  I will not be using them.

From the beginning to the end, everything went absolutely perfectly. Since we did not have a house to move into right away, we were happy that they provided storage services in their facility, and gave us one month free storage!
Their price was the fairest of all the many estimates we got. There were no hidden costs or surprises whatsoever!
They were very honest. They packed what they needed to pack well. 
The moving foreman, Gustavo, was amazing--he was at the pickup with the other movers, and he stayed with us, put furniture together, and did alot to help settle us into our new house. We were sad to say good bye to him, because he started to feel like an old friend! 
The other movers were all very nice, respectful and capable. It made a very stressful situation much easier. 
I saw that this company had excellent Angie's List reviews, and that made me feel comfortable to go with them and to entrust them with our possessions; so I am adding one more.
Arthur Werner, and specifically this location's ownership from the Bronx was totally awesome, and I thank God that we chose them. The owner was charismatic but straight forward. He gave us a great price and great service! Do not hesitate to call him and use him!

Great. I've used Arthur Werner 3x now. All times have been a great experience. Larry Patterson is the best! Responsive, action oriented and courteous!

Of the 6 times I moved, by far, these were the best movers I've had.

Team was responsive, on time and efficient. Estimate was high and they easily came underneath. Always a good idea to get another estimate so you know what ball park you are in.

Overall happy with service and would use again.
