The crew, led by Joe, were fantastic and knew what they were doing. Did more trimming then I expected on the maple tree and really opened up the area over the roof of my house. Looks great! From estimate to clean up perfect work! Highly recommend them for any tree work you need done.

They wanted over $2,000, the highest of three estimates and nearly three times over my lowest estimate. I'm guessing a lot of these companies are taking advantage of the dying ash trees, particularly where the trees are near a house or other building.

I had a tree tip because of high winds and needed a company to take it down. Oakes responded within a day to my need. Because they charged me a reasonable price and were extremely professional in completing the removal, I decided to have them take down some other trees, but primarily prune and thin out dead branches, etc. They quoted me a price that was very fair and when they came to do the job they were prompt and had a full crew to do the job. Alex, the foreman, was extremely helpful in advising me of what was going on and suggested several helpful pointers. The whole crew worked tirelessly to complete the job. They thinned out the trees, and pruned out a great deal of dead material. The result is stunning. I am happy I opted to use them and would highly recommend Oakes Tree Service to others. Thanks Alex and the crew, as well as Michelle, in the office, for coordinating the services.

The trees look trimmed. This is our first experience with fruit trees being trimmed so I didn't know what to expect.

Unelievable service...cut the limbs, took out the limbs and mulched them, raked the yard, very friendly . They called ahead of time and I was so happy with their work!

Well. I was provided with a estimate within 3-4 days of requesting that I be contacted. They were back within 10 business days to complete the work. They had these two large trees down in an afternoon and the site cleaned up. Everyone was completely professional.

They did a great job and they cleaned up the yard well after. The stump grinding was good and after I removed the piles of wood chips and dirt I was able to plant grass. My only issue was one root that was still a bit high that I had to chop out with a pick axe.

A whole crew showed up on time and they never stopped moving. They removed the maple tree, ground the stump, did some major pruning on an ornamental tree and pruned some shrubs. They were very efficient and pleasant and they left the yard, sidewalk and street spotless. Who could ask for more.
