Fossati Plumbing and Heating located in Carmel and Brewster NY is a full-service plumbing company specializing in all aspects of plumbing for commercial, residential and multi-family housing. We are a family- owned and operated plumbing company since 1978. Our founder, Bob Fossati was the kind of man who gave back to his community and taught many young plumbers the importance of taking pride in your work, pride in yourself and “doing it right the first time. Fossati Plumbing and Heating still carries on with Bob’s core values and we bring these qualities to your home by hiring skilled licensed plumbers, friendly office staff and making sure to carry and install only quality products. We offer upfront pricing for our customers. Before a wrench is picked up you know what the work will cost and it doesn’t matter how much time it takes. No one likes “hidden surprises” when they receive an invoice at the end of a job. Upfront pricing allows our plumbers to concentrate on putting out high quality work, making sure that its done right the first time and taking the time to answer any questions you may have. We want to be your “go to plumber”. Its about building trust and lasting relationships.

Could not be happier with the service I received from Fossati plumbing.  At the time of consult, they explained everything they would do.  They were there 3 business days after they gave me the estimate.  Work was done in about 2 hours by Rich and Tony,  They were very professional and did exactly what they said they would do and the price was the same as quote. Recommend to anyone who needs plumbing service...they do excellent work and would gladly use again if needed!!!

Tony arrived on time, and was very pleasant and thorough.  He was able to quickly diagnose the issue and had the drain snaked in no time.  Very nice people, would certainly use them again!

We found Fossati on Angie's list . We called on 2/14/16 spoke to Tony who advised that they had a lot of emergencies due to the cold weather but we would be placed on the list. The next day we got a call to expect them before noon. Tony and Bill arrived before noon very respectful and polite. They found intake and return pipes frozen, which needed to be replaced. They went through the system to make sure everything else was in working order and made recommendations to avoid this from happening again. They walked us through the entire process and explained everything as they went along. We called two other companies for this emergency we gave one an F on Angie's list, the other was a referral from our boiler guy who was no help and couldn't offer a referral for an emergency situation. The estimate and pricing are my only complaint.  When negotiating price, I was told the faucet cost $300 (checked online - more like $125) and I was told there would be two guys (only one guy showed up and only one guy was needed).  I agreed to the price based on this information.  It turns out that I paid this plumber roughly $350 per hour ($900 minus $200 for material divided by 2 hours) to make a very simple repair.  Everyone was very pleasant and on time and the work performed was fine but I feel I was given misinformation when I was trying to determine the price I would be willing to pay.

It went very well. I was helped by Sonya in the office and she was great to work with. When the plumber arrived, I immediately felt comfortable and confident as he was well experienced. Working with a small, family owned company is something I prefer and I was not let down! Tony installed my filter quickly and showed us how to change future filters and helped get our water tested before and after. He was knowledgable, friendly and professional. I would return to using Fossati Plumbing and Heating over and over.

I have used Fossati Plubing and Heating several times since I purchased my home two years ago. This family owned and operated company have come through for us every time. Debi, an owner and office manager, is personable, kind, and knowledgeable  with every question I had. Trust me, during my home reconstruction  there were many    I was completely comfortable with their staff in my home each time. The last service I had done was the installation of a second hand dishwasher, which was done quickly and neatly.  I have worked in customer service for many years and have a feel for genuine people. So grateful for such wonderful service.  This company across the board gets my best review.  The get placed upon the plumbing pedestal!!

In one simple word Fossati Plumbing and Heating is fantastic!  I called two other local plumbing companies before calling Fossati Plumbing. The first one never even returned my phone call and they boasted they were a 24hr emergency service specialist with fast reliable service! Never returned my call. The second company at least returned my call and made appointment to come over and give estimate, so i planned on going to work late to meet them and they never showed up never the less call to let me know they weren't coming. very frustrating and unprofessional. Then I came across Fossati Plumbing and heating, made phone call and didn't even have to leave message because they had someone in office to pick up phone and  it was a very pleasant girl. She proceeded to take all my info and asked what my plumbing needs were and then informed me one of there mechanics will call me back shortly. After the last two i wasn't holding my breath ,but low and behold within a 1/2 hr i received a phone call from one of there men, made a appointment that was convenient for me. The mechanic showed up as scheduled (actually 5 minutes early) Was very professional and polite. I showed him to back of house where I need hose bib replaced and he assured me no problem to fix gave me estimate and actually had part on his service truck and offered to do job right then and there. I happily agreed ,I thought price was very fair and I would not have to take any other time away from my busy schedule. With in no time at all the job was done! The men where very neat left nothing behind for me to do. They took all old material and garbage they had with them. so to sum it up They were a pleasure to do business with,prompt, professional and most of all fair priced. I would not hesitate to call them again and would highly recommend them. I actually have a few more plumbing issues I want to address and I look forward to calling them and doing business with them again. No stress and No problems That's my kind of company! cant say enough good things about Fossati Plumbing and heating. The whole experience was a pleasure.

I was trying to shut off and drain my hose spigot for the season, Grabbed the handle for the valve and it broke off right in my hand! Lucky for me it wasn't leaking. I called Fossati Plumbing and they gave me an appointment the next day. The support staff was really nice, they try to rush me off the phone and were willing to work with my crazy schedule. Their plumber showed up on time, was very neat and professional.  He explained everything to me before he was going to do it, even told me the cost up front. This way there were no surprise charges. He was super respectful of my home. He took off his shoes when he came in and when he left it didn't even look like he had been there! No cleanup on my end required.  I would definitely tell my friends to use them.

I had tried two plumbers before i was lucky enough to get in touch with Fossati Plumbing.  One didn't return my call , the other didn't show up for the estimate. From start to finish it was an absolute pleasure dealing with Fossati Plumbing & Heating! Upon calling, Sonja immediatly set me up with an appointment since my husband and I only have one shower in the house.  Tony came out the following day, he was prompt & cheerful! We went over pricing before any work was performed, I felt the price was fair and he proceed to do the repair. He located the leak right away and got to work on it. When Tony completed the job it was neat & tidy. I would definetely use them again and have recommended them to friends and family!

From start to finish working with Fossati Plumbing has been a great experience. My wife and I are very happy with the results. We have a small space for our boiler and the original left hardly any room for access and maintenance.  Rich at Fossati recommended the Weil Mclean Hot Water ecoboiler. Mainly because it is nice and compact (fits on the wall) and is perfect for our situation.

Getting the old boiler out was a real chore but they didn't complain and after the install everything was perfectly tidy.
The price they charged was typical. Importantly though everything turned out great and it's all running fine. Fossati's technicians are very personable and know their stuff. That is my main concern because as you know boiler installs are not for the faint of heart and we wanted a licensed, qualified outfit that will install our water heater correctly. I definitely recommend these guys.
