I can't say enough good things about Gary Brownell, Inc. The VP is named Ron. Ron was always coming over to make sure that things were being done appropriately, although he didn't really have to worry. He has some really great professionals working for him. The workers take their work very seriously; they are true artisans that are self-motivated to get the job done correctly. It's obvious that Ron treats his workers with respect and that respect for their work and work ethic is reciprocated back to Ron and is reflected in how each and every one of them treat their customers. My husband was recovering from brain surgery. They were so quiet while my husband was convalescing at home with all of the construction going on. They made every extra effort to not be noisy or have construction dust all over the place. Everything went smoothly. The tile I wanted didn't come in for several weeks. That wasn't Gary Brownell Inc.'s fault. I went over to the tile store to pick out another tile to speed things up, but I didn't like any of the other tiles so we had to wait for the tile I chose to come in. I think that might have been blowing Ron's budget but he was very patient. It was a popular, expensive tile on backorder. I also picked out a Toto toilet. The list price on the toilet was about $5000. I'm not wealthy, but I wanted my husband to be able to have some dignity while using the bathroom and the Toto toilets provide that dignity as there is an integral bidet, blow dryer and it flushes for you when you're done. It allowed him to use the toilet by himself. You would have to use the toilet to understand why it's a good choice for someone who is paralyzed on one side. Ron and Access Ability Design Group set me up with a consultant at Frank Webb to help me pick out the toilet, the special shower set-ups and sink and faucet designs that are specifically designed for people with a left sided paralysis. Access Ability Design Group provided plans that had to re-route a lot of our plumbing so the cost of the project was pretty high. But I have to say, it was worth every penny. I will absolutely use Gary Brownell, Inc. on my next project.
