I used Jose in the past and as always he did a phenominal job. He is very meticulous and does things right! You cannot ask for anything more. He is always fair and did an outstanding job. I will be calling him back to do my driveway!

When I originally met with Jose he looked over the job and gave me an estimate the day after. His quote wasn't the cheapest but definitely a fair price. In his case you get more than what you pay for. His quality of his work is outstanding. He showed up every morning at 7:30AM on the dot and got the project done exactly when he said he would. I'm glad I decided to go with many of his recommendations because everything came out fantastic. Not only did he work on my walkway, but he fixed many of the issues that I had on my paver patio in my backyard that another company built. I can honestly say, Jose is an honest, hardworking, meticulous mason. If you want quality he's your guy. I will be using him on any masonry project I have in the future.

Joe was recommended to me and I brought him in as the 3rd estimate on this project and he was the least expensive quote by $1,000. I believe he quoted me his best price. I could not be happier with his work. Until you see it, you can not believe how much work Joe gets done in one day. It is remarkable. He finished this job, in the cold, in 1.5 weeks, which is what he told me when he started. I have used many contractors and this is the first time that the finished product is exactly what we discussed and how I pictured it. I would not hesitate to recommend Joe or use him again.

Jose did an excellent professional job. His price was reasonable..I highly recommend him. I have additional work to do on my property. I am certainly going the give Jose the work.

Joe was recommended by the company who was redoing my asphalt driveway and I'm very glad they did. Joe came to the job after the asphalt company had ripped up my old driveway. He only has one guy on his crew and they got to work immediately tearing up approximately 80' of old sidewalk and my old concrete driveway apron. It was a long, hot day for them but they got all the cement out and started laying the forms for the new concrete. The next day, they finished the forms in time for the cement truck to come and pour the new sidewalks and apron. Once the new concrete was in place, Joe got to work laying the Belgian block border for my new driveway, which came out perfectly. Joe is a skilled mason with years of experience and it shows in his work. There was no wasted time or effort. The forms were straight as an arrow and the finish work on the cement was excellent. The Belgian block border was also straight as an arrow and perfectly sloped. Any questions or concerns I had were addressed promptly, and any small changes I requested were not an issue. I have received nothing but compliments from my neighbors and passers-by. I would recommend Joe to anyone needing any kind of masonry work and in fact, I have already recommended him to one of my neighbors.

This company called me to tell me that they were very busy and could not do the work at this time. Instead of just not calling back after my initial call, they were kind enough to call me and explain why.If I ever have need for any other masonary work, they will be the first I would call and I again thank them for their call back.

It went extremely well, and I cannot say enough to praise this wonderful and conscientious contractor. He was extremely prompt in responding to my inquiry, and the results were magnificent! Joe was recommended by a paving company that we were going to use for our driveway. Joe came in first, with one other worker, and did all of the work as outliined above in approximately 4 days. He was very meticulous and clean. He basically has to build the walkway from scratch (previously we had stepping stones placed in the grass but no path/walkway) and he had to rip apart the stoop that was falling apart and start over. Everything came out great! What a transformation from what was there before and it was totally worth the price!! He completely changed the look of our house and we are so grateful!

Joe was a prompt and professional business man. He started the job first thing in the morning and was finished in the early evening. He laid yellow Belgium blocks around the perimeter of my driveway and across the apron. The Belgium blocks look absolutely beautiful and Joe's work was perfect. He is definitely a perfectionist and I am thrilled at how beautiful it looks. I had a picture in my mind of what I wanted it to look like upon completion and Joe's work met all my expectations. I highly recommend him for any and all of your cement work and then some.

After 2 days of waiting for a returned call, they came out to give me an estimate. He seemed very knowledgeable, he said he would get back to me in 3 days, it's been 3 weeks and he has not contacted me. I don't consider this to be a small job.

Jose showed up promptly at 7:30am and left at 5pm. He cleaned up any mess as he worked and provided a very fair price. i was pleasantly surprised so much that I plan to use call him back for several additional projects I have coming up for my home.

Jose showed up for his estimate 5 minutes early. He quickly measured the patio, worked up an estimate in a few minutes and reviewed it with us in detail. He pointed out some issues that other masons overlooked. He was very pleasant and his price was fair. He told us to pick out the pavers and he would be able to start the job in about 2 weeks. He actually started the job a few days early and finished in 2 days as he had projected. I asked that he relocate the existing pavers in the back corner of the yard which he did very willingly and had them stacked neatly. I also had a few loose stone steps which he re-affixed. I would recommend Jose to anyone and would absolutely use him again.

Joe did a great job. First he and his helper broke up all the sidewalk & apron concrete & removed it from my property The next day the new concrete was pored & the following day the pavers were installed. The work was done quickly, The result is an amazing and outstandingly beautiful sidewalk, driveway apron & driveway. Every time I look at Joe's work I continue to admire the results. My advice is for anyone who wants a great concrete &/or paver job should call Jose F Pereira!!!

He first looked at it on a weekend and met with my tenant. His secretary (which might be his wife) did not contact me until Thursday and I responded by leaving a message on Friday. In the meantime, my tenant was told by his wife/secretary that she had been trying to contact me all week and I was not responding. Anyway, when we finally did speak, his attitude was that it was a small job and not really worth his time and said he could do it in the afternoon one day when he returns from another job. He then took another look at the job and realized the sink hole was much more extensive than what he orignally thought and became very noncomittal. I waited a few days, called him back twice. Once leaving a message on his answering machine and another by leaving a message with his secretary/wife. That was a month ago and I have not heard from him since.

He was punctual, showing up on time for both the estimate and subsequent jobs. He made several suggestions with various options giving us a range of ideas and prices to work with. On the days of the job work started at 8:00 AM sharp and continued all day. He was cheerful, polite, and paid great attention to detail. All questions were answered and concerns addressed.The results were exactly as described during the estimate. No extra costs, no problems. When the job was done clean up was complete and thorough.

Fantastic job. Even though the grade was up and down, Joe made it look great by using regular Belgian blocks and Jumbo Belgian blocks. Already thinking of the next few projects for stonework on the front stoop and retaining walls. Joe was gracious enough to even dig and pour concrete and set the post for our new mailbox. Thank you so much, it looks great !!! :-) Wonderful customer service, and professional, exact, disciplined, expert, clean job. The best part is that there was no headache. That's rare these days. He did more than he needed to and knocked it out of the park.

saw tim ricciboni(angie's list) for new asphalt driveway who suggested jose for the apron, and belgian blockwork, when met with jose, i also spoke to him about front stoop. saw some of his work on the list, and with the high recommendation from tim figured i'd give him a try. before agreeing, he had me go look at one of his jobs he had done similar to what i was looking to do right here in my town. was impressed with the work done. he met with me, made suggestions and told me my options. came and did the work about a week later and we have no complaints. he and helper were here promptly at 8 am each day and did not leave til 4 or 5 p with no slacking off , all business, no play. cleanup was done like he wasn't here, just wish i didn't lose a couple of small perennials (maybe they'll come back). even spackled up holes where i had the old railings as he said he would. took half the $ halfway thru job, the rest at the end, which is very fair of course. joe does very nice work and would highly recommend.

Jose did a fabulous job. His skill and professionalism are top quality. I had some concerns about the color of my older block with the new ones he was installing. His suggestion worked perfectly. I couldn't have been more pleased.

We could not have imagined it come out better. He did an absolutely perfect job. He was punctual, polite, and very professional. He finished the work quickly and even did couple of extra things at no additional cost and amazingly one of them was his idea because he thought it would look better if he changed it and he was right! Highly recommend!
