Called for a HVAC service due to a/c not working correctly. Nice people but incompetent. They showed up in time but never diagnosed the problem correctly. Cleaned the condenser and said I had mold in my air handler. They used a electric meter to tell me my freon was low. They didn't put on a manifold gauge, temp probe, or even have refrigerant-specific PT chart. This appeared to be a cash grab. The problem was not solved and the technician spent time on the phone with the Honeywell tech support. Said I needed a damper valve replaced and new circuit panel. Never saw the parts being replaced and not sure if they were. Charged lots of money and still had the same problem. I called another HVAC technician and in 20 minutes he fixed it perfectly for $150.00 When I called back All Island and spoke to Phil about what happened he said he would send me filters to make up for it. Stay away from All Island if you don't want competent honest work

I spoke with Phil on Wednesday evening (June 11th) and we scheduled a service appointment for Saturday, June 14th between 10 am and 11 am. Phil was a no-show, no-call for our Saturday appointment. That's right - he never showed up and never called to say ANYTHING. I waited all day and nobody from his company ever came! I even texted Phil the day before to tell to please make sure the tech arrives on time. I have multiple HVAC projects which I need to get done and All Island Heating & Air will not be getting any of them! I've already set up something with a much more reliable and reputable company.

Fantastic and compassionate. Knowledgeable to both do a good job AND determine best plan for my budget. Phil and his crew are top notch.

13 hours ago This company is the absolutely the best, they had to replace a complete return line on a steam boiler system. They had to remove walls , they replaced and took all debris with them... all done in 3hours... . would definitely recommend them very respectful mechanics Will and the Phil owner is so polite..... they gave me a fair price !!! I will never let anyone else touch my boiler system. They are very trustworthy. respectful & dependable ..

Phil got back to me right away, he sent Will and Jacob for the job, They were all very professional and courteous, I wish I knew of them with my hot water heater, Never use Abalene trust me. All Island is my go to going forward.

My family and I went in contract with All Island Heating and Air in March 2024. Phil and his team were very professional and knowledgeable about furnaces for basements, insulation etc. Phil came over and provided us with a diagnostic that was safe, reliable and suitable for our needs. He kept open communication with us throughout the process. The technician Will, who came to our house was very respectful and thorough. He explained what he would do and frequently checked in with us to ensure our satisfaction. Additionally, both he and Phil were able to answer our questions and it was really heartwarming that they appreciated our business. Phil even provided us with a call back, to ensure that the furnace was running smoothly and our hot water tank was functioning. We now have a new furnace, an appropriate humidifier that will not cause water leakage, appropriate insulation for the ducts and a 10 year warranty. Overall, we are very grateful for the professionalism and exceptional work from All Island Heating and Air. Definitely will use their services in the future. ð  Â

The absolute worst company. Been waiting for over 1 yesr to have a/c and heating job completed. I've been left with no heat or a/c on second floor.. Numerous excuses, lies, broken promises,no shows and no response and still not done. Stay away from this company

They did a excellent job in repairing my gas boiler. I will definitely use them again.

Finally actual experts who know what they are doing! They came quickly and were efficient and lovely people!! Phil owns the company and is a gem. Two other people came to fix our system and our heat went out again two days later after each of them told us they fixed the problem. Highly recommended

Knowledgable

The boss and all the workers were extremely nice and extremely knowledgeable about the whole installation of the whole new central air conditioning system. They always showed when they said they would and explained everything to me.

Phill the owner responded quickly to my needs he came and evaluated my system told me that I needed a new system put in he was very concerned about our situation and heat levels while the system was not functioning and factored in that my spouse was not feeling well. All of his technicians are skilled and well qualified. We highly recommend him and thank this business for a job well done and we appreciate all the care and concern.

Lazy shoddy duct work. Spend your money elsewhere.

They replaced my oil water heater with electric. Technically very proficient. They did the job within reasonable time while overcoming some logistical issues. I'm satisfied with their work. That said, their communication is not great. They need to call or text if they're going to be late or if issues will delay the project.

They came timely, were very very professional and had the unit fixed within half an hour. Had a previous estimate from another company, that was more than double the price. After discussing the issue with them on the phone they said that something didn't sound correct with the previous price given. Thank you for making our home cool again!

Our AC unit was not working properly and I reached out to them for repairs. I expressed the urgency for the repairs since I have asthma and the humidity causes me to suffer from breathing difficulties, they had a crew over within the hour and went right to work. The company and crew were honest and gave me plenty of options to consider. Ultimately, they had my air conditioning up and running the same day and their prices were great! Thanks for all the help guys! I will certainly be recommending All Island to my friends and family.

Very satisfied with the great crew, who worked tirelessly to actually reinstall my a/c system, which another installer had bungled three years ago. So happy to have air conditioning again.

All Island Heating & Air came to our rescue! Our heat decided to stop working at the worst time possible. We woke up to our home in the low 50s with our pup cuddle up to us, keeping warm. Within minutes of sending a request, they responded, and they showed up over an hour earlier than expected (absolutely amazing). The work was fantastic and very thorough. The only downside was the cost; it was really expensive. But with the economy right now and taking into account the emergency request, what can you do?? If you ever need emergency help or general help, I would highly recommend them!

From the moment we called, we were treated with respect and honesty. They came right over to our home, looked at our 38-year-old furnace, and advised what the problems were and how they could solve them. They gave us several choices of units, advised why each had its positives or negatives, and helped us make a decision. Within a day, the crew arrived with the new unit and completed the job within a day. They cleaned up and took the old furnace away. The crew was professional and did a wonderful job. They advised us of warranties and guarantees, maintenance, and yearly checkups. We are very happy with our choice and highly recommend them to our neighbors and friends.

The owner told me 800.00 for a 3-way valve he the owner told me it was an all-day job and he would come over Saturday to look at it he showed up call me later and told me he could not make it he send a crew Monday early because it was a big job the valve was behind the heat exchanger and to pull the unit all over the phone he told me .with out looking at the unit he told me 800.00 because its an all-day job. ON Monday his crew shows up at 12:30 pm they took the unit apart the 3-way valve was never behind the unit but alongside it this crew then to home depot for a tool they need to finish the job 45min later they came back to completed the job that is 4 hrs 45 min no work being done and after they put everything back together there was no heat on hot water before there were heat and no hot water and nothing. they claim it was the heat exchanger was leaking it was a little and needed to be replaced but why if they saw the leak they replace the wrong valve and not the water valve the part they put in cost $ 48.00, cost 38.00... why did I pay over 900.00 dollars for that? It took 1/2 day and not a whole day with no heat. After they left, I when downstairs and looked there was a vacuum hose off I put it on and the heat is now working He the boss was going to call me the next day he never did just like that Saturday he was coming over to look at the job If he did he would have seen the leak he could have put the money he took towards the heat exchanger he lost out because it was done by a REEL PRO.

Was very over priced,1st told me a price of $1600 and I ended up paying $2400 just to have the boiler repaired, not for a brand new boiler ....... repaired. Next time I will def shop around.
