We had some water leaking into our basement and had been told by another company that we needed to excavate on the outside to waterproof. I called E&M for a second estimate. Eddie was responsive, arrived on time, and was very helpful in explaining our issue. He suggested we try a DIY solution first (that will only cost us $10 in material) before going to the extreme of excavating. He provided a quote for the work, should we need it, which was significantly less than the other quote I received. We're new homeowners, and this was a situation where we easier could've been taken advantage of. Eddie is an honest business owner, and should the DIY solution not work, he'll be the one I call.

He actually stuck to the price on his quote from two years prior, and came and completed the job in half a day. When they encountered an issue with the exterior foundation in the process, they added a french drain on the inside of the basement at no additional cost. They clean up so well behind themselves you would never know anything was done, except that three months later there remains no water leaking in our home!

E &M provided a written estimate, and most importantly, set up a date that they would be available to do the work. Service was professional, efficient, and very neat. They showed up exactly when I was told they would to repair the foundation's crack and install a drywall to drain water away from the house and basement window. Basement has not leaked, at it has been two weeks since the work was done. I'm very happy with the work E & M did and would highly recommend them.

We moved into our house in September 2016. With purchase documents came warranty from E & M Waterproofing for work originally done in May 2014. Warranty is for 10 years and stipulated that it was transferrable to new owner. Had leak last week, and when we called them they were very responsive and fixed problem within a week at no additional charge.

They were great. Excellent. I don't have any more leaks, so they did an excellent job. There were two workers. They were fine. They did a great job. They didn't have to take the deck apart. There were some residue around the area, but that is to be expected.

Excellent! I had this work completed over 1 year ago. I'm only getting around to writing the review now. I have not had any water seepage since! Eddie was also very good with following up after work was completed. We had a minor issue with communication on the replacement on concrete present before the repair, but it was fixed shortly after. Great. Eddie the owner was fantastic. Identified the problem and advised what the solution would be. The crew that performed the work were excellent. They explained exactly what they were doing and were professional and courteous. Left the backyard cleaner than the way they found it.

I could not be happier with the service provided by the owner Eddie and his wonderful crew. All other basement waterproofing companies that I met prior to Eddie insisted on installing a french drain, which I did not think would solve our problem nor was the need for a french drain ever properly explained to me by any of them. As I was starting to believe some or all of them might be a sales rep for french drain systems, I finally found Eddie through Angie's List. He took time to thoroughly inspect the basement in and out and explained to me why a french drain would not solve our problem. And to my surprise, he suggested waiting a bit until we have enough evidence of foundation leak from the next heavy rain or two to decide whether or not I should proceed with exterior waterproofing work as it is an expensive work. Eventually, I went ahead and proceeded with the exterior waterproofing work, and throughout the process, Eddie could not be more punctual, professional and thoughtful. His crew consisted of a full of hardworking good guys, whom I enjoyed having at my house. Two of the crew foremen have been with Eddie for more than 20+ years, and they lead/supervised the team during the entire duration of work and communicated with me as necessary. Even my general contractor and his crew were impressed by the quality of the work and how fast the crew worked. I had called Eddie back since to consult another potential problem, which was unrelated to the work done previously, and he happily came back to the house to inspect and then share his thoughts on it, shook my hand and left, without trying to sell any service/product. In short, Eddie's customer service is above and beyond and is a man of integrity who will only suggest the work that is needed. I will be recommending E&M Waterproofing to all of my neighbors and friends.

They have a great crew working for them. Knowledgeable and neat. In and out cleaned up everything and cement work was perfect. I would definitely use them again.

Eddie went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with the work his company did. He was always a phone call away whenever we had questions for him. That was ultimately the deciding factor for us when we were deciding which company to choose. We knew if we had any questions or issues, we didn't need to go through multiple people and wait for weeks to get a reply. The work that his workers did was a solid job. We had a minor issue after the job was completed and he worked with us throughout until it was resolved. He was not to able to tell me exactly what the issue was because no water was present. He was courteous, timely, and knowledgeable. He wouldn't do the work unless he was able to determine exactly what the issue is, which would be determined the next time water shows up. He showed me how to determine if the water is a plumbing issue that way I'll know if I need to use his service.
