As you can read above--it did not go!!--- that is the water did not go - still had plugged sink, but the owner and his helper (son) were pleasant and I do not believe could have done more. He was as disappointed as I that drain was not fixed. I should add that they were neat and concerned about my living space as they worked.
Footnote: I completed the work with a crew of about 5 people, including a rubber tired backhoe operator. Yard had to be dug up and new drain pipe installed. Mohawk did not do that kind of work.

He was very professional, personable and did a quality job. Price was great (it was actually cheaper than what a friend was going to do it for). We definitely will be looking to these guys should we have any plumbing needs in the future! I highly recommend Howard and his son.

Response was very quick and work was performed in a professional manner. The sewer line is extremely long (approx. 150') and they questioned if I wanted to proceed as they only had 100' of cable. Upon getting the go ahead, the line was cleaned out within 30 minutes and they proceeded to locate the plugged floor drain and worked on it for quite some time to clear it and drain the basement before leaving.

This is the second time I've had Mohawk Plumbing. These guys are fantastic. Howard is responsive when called, very professional, efficient, fixed the problem in less than an hour. Cleaned up when they were done. I would call them again in a heartbeat. Both times they were called, the experience was identical--great service, very fair price, professional from start to finish.

I was very pleased with the cost and service. It was Veterans Day, I was told by my plumbing company that they could not come and if they came later it would be over time cost. I looked on Angie's List and picked Mohawk Plumbing, called was told I would be the last call of the day but they would be there. They came reviewed the problem and in a half hour had the sewer and drains running. They were informative and professional. I will use Mohawk Plumbing from this time forword.

This company was recommended by McDonald Plumbing after I described my backed up plumbing in the cellar, which ended up to be a sever problem. I was unable to be at my house the day the service was performed but I had someone there who said the job was done well-quick, professionally and efficiently. My phone conversations before hand were great-answered my message in a reasonable time and even able to perform the job that day -cost less than thought it would, too.I would highly recommend them again!

Called Mohawk after calling a number of services who were booked up. Howard from Mohawk answered the phone and said he would be at my home "in an hour" but that he would call when he was on his way. True to his word, Howard called and said the would be there in 15 minutes. Fifteen minutes later Howard and his son Chris arrived (one hour from the time I originally called!) and immediately began working. Howard checked the front yard drain pipe and then he and Chris proceeded to rooter the line. They cut branches and removed a blockage of waste. Within 15 minutes they had diagnosed the problem and fixed it. I am very impressed with their service!ewer pipe

I hired two other companies to fix it, but one did nothing at all to help, and the other only got it running for a few days. (both got paid) Mohawk got to the bottom of the problem and fixed the plug at the vent trap out between the road and the house. They did not even charge me until a month after performing the service. Their attitude is kind and friendly, like they care about helping the customer. I called them because of a strong word of mouth referral and I am glad I did. This is the plumber I will call from now on.

My house's septic pipe backed up all of a sudden, creating a small lake in the basement on a snowy, very cold winter day. These guys came right over, ran a snake down the septic pipe in the front of my house (after clearing away a lot of snow!), and produced a few children's toy trucks, to everyone's surprise. Things have run fine ever since.

I would've given them a higher mark in professionalism except for one thing, perhaps a nice thing to some people -- they invited me to their church after learning I had just moved here. I was not offended by any means, but it did seem odd to have them mention it as I was writing their check.

Nice guys, overall, who didn't mind working in winter conditions.

Mohawk plumbing is awesome. I have dealt with too many plumbers/plumbing companies in the Syracuse area and very rarely have had a good experience. Mohawk is responsive, efficient and so affordable. When I lived in the Albany area, having a sewer line snaked ran ~$200. Also, the guys quickly shoveled out the 10 ft of snow covering the outside sewer drain for no extra charge (while I had a friend who needed to shovel his out himself or else would be charged significantly more).

Two plumbers arrived within an hour of my call. They cleared the drain and told me what caused the problem. Nice guys, good work, fair prices. My only complaint is that one of them tracked a little bit of dirty water up my steps unnecessarily, but that's small potatoes. I was happy, will use them again, and would recommend them.

We realized our sewer drain was backing up and we couldn't use the services in the house. I was concerned about who among many to call, looked on Angie's list, called a highly rated plumber who referred me to Mohawk Plumbing who specializes in drain cleaning. I called at 9am. He came at 11am. I had to go to work and he did the job from the outside and left a bill in my mailbox. There was no disruption or mess outside where they worked. His price was very reasonable. He left me a message that the work was successfully completed and the details about what the problem was.
