I needed an inspection, and had what I thought was a good relationship here. So when my car came back with a $1700 price tag to get inspected, I was a little surprised. The claim was that my brakes were in need of full replacement (the list was exhaustive) as well as my e-brake and an astoundingly overpriced replacement for a cracked rear light. My boyfriend works on cars recreationally, so with that price point he decided to do the job himself. I was with him when he took the tires off. They were rusted on all four tires and Hs clearly not been removed within the past year. Additionally, with the exception of my e-brake cable needing to be tightened, NONE of the brake work was necessary either for safety or to pass inspection. I thought perhaps it was a case of a shady technician and approached the owners about it. I thought this was a reputable business. It turns out the owners were the ones to ‘do’ whatever work they actually did to my car, as well as submit it to me. I was told that I was lying about the tires having been removed for inspection, despite having seen it for myself. And I was told they didn’t want to work for me anyway. So buyer beware - or know someone who can give you a second opinion. This place is a scam.

Stay away. Terrible people. Very money hungry and scammers. Charged me double for what other shops charge (found out later).

As is the case with this provider a thorough lubrication and visual inspection was done.

I have had many services provided at B and H over the past few years and have been very pleased with the quality of the

parts used when necessary and the expert repairs completed in a timely and professional fashion.

The receptionist ( I believe she is the owner's wife) talked very rudely over the phone when I requested to have a breakdown of the total estimate. She said "they weren't put on this earth to do charity work, and they are here to run a business." Well, "business" to these people means ripping customers off. And not just by tens of dollars, but by a few hundred! 
The estimate they gave me (after I left my car in the shop for a day) was $500 (including the part that was used. I was wise enough not to trust them (was warned off by a co-worker who had bad experience with this shop sometime ago) and get another estimate done by someone else. I went to a different shop and they told me the job will be $130 for the labor and $30 for the part that was new and not used! Total of $160!! And it wasn't some "run down" shop either. It was a very clean, popular shop that's been in business much longer than B&H. I got it done there of course, and was super happy with the result. Guys did an excellent job. 
So DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR TO B&H unless you like to be ripped off. Nasty, rude, greedy people that also lie right in your face.

Went to Band H as a potentially lower priced alternative. Another shop said that due to corrosion, the old bearing would have to be cut off - making it an expensive job. Went to Band H. They were able to remove the old bearing without the torch. They also had a nut available to reattach the bearing, saving me that cost. The cost for the job was about half what it would have been at the other shop. Unfortunately, they found a broken rear spring which they replaced. Doh!
This is a small shop with personal attention. I will be back.

They are a little higher priced at times, but they do really good work and they are honest. I've gone and they have told me nothing is wrong. They are my regular mechanic. I wouldn't take my car any other place.
They periodically spray the brake lines to preserve them and did my annual inspection. Tested my car to make sure there were no issues with my car as it has 91,000 miles and I was going out of town for a long trip.Even with my mileage, they didn't find anything to fix. They are my regular mechanic and I am very comfortable with them
Do make an appt..very small shop .. they will do real emergencies at times, but they work by appt a few days down the road ...very accomodating..

Car was taken in at scheduled time, immediately serviced and inspected and returned to me in very short order. Very professional efficient staff as well as courteous and helpful. They are always busy, enjoying a large satisfied customer base who return to them faithfully for all auto service work. B & H is a rare find in today's business world, a place that not only does excellent work consistently, but also charges a fair and reasonable price.

They are a small operation, but they are always busy because they're so good. they are very thorough and professional. they are the best!
