The walk itself was done very well except that contractor forgot key customization discussed several times before job was started. Also, rather than leaving the excess dirt and sod next to job as discussed prior to job, dirt was moved by Bobcat 100+ across lawn and dumped leaving tractor tracks all over lawn. He chose that option without consultation and despite there being several other options that would have easier and much less damaging including just leaving the excess dirt where he said he was going to. When confronted with situation (missed customization, damage to lawn), contractor asked for suggestion for remediation. When a discount was suggested as a quick way to resolution, contractor accused me of using situation solely as an excuse to get money off my bill and threatened to take me to court. I gave up trying to reason with the man, wrote him a check for the full amount and told him to leave. Pity because quality of the actual job was excellent, but the contractor obviously has no respect for the customer or overall customer satisfaction.
