Here at Butler's Sales and Service, Inc., we have been in business since 1992, and have provided The Finger Lakes community with alternative heating sales and services including outdoor cooking grills and smokers for 20 years. Excellent job. They were very careful about not making a mess. Thoroughly examined the inside of our wood stove for any problems. Cleaned the Chimney from the inside out which was wonderful for us as we have a 3-story home with a metal roof. Very professional and definitely will use again.

The service was prompt (in fact, he was early! what a nice change!), professional, and highly informative. The representative saved me a good deal of money; I was expecting to pay for a full chimney sweeping -- he informed me that the chimney was clean and had no defects, so he only charged for the inspection when he could easily have done an unnecessary cleaning to get the greater amount.

Pat was very professional and provided excellent service. We expected to pay thousands for an insert to fix a problem reported in the past by another company which turned out not to be a problem at all. Pat treated my fireplace and chimney as if it was his own, did a great job at a very fair price. He doesn't sell you work you don't need!

The gentleman did an incredible job ensuring not only the chimney was cleaned but he cleaned out all the pipes on the wood stove, the vents and made adjustments to the vents to improve efficiency. He also fixed the caulk on the chimney because the company that installed the liner (a different company) did a poor job. He said he cleaned it the way he would do his own. Fabulous!

Thought chimney was plugged. House filled with smoke each time we lit wood stove. Came on time, cleaned chimney and found cap had moved and was not working properly. Have not had any problem since. Works better than ever. Great job!!!!!!

John Willis was great, said gas fireplace didn't need cleaning and fixed it so we didn't have to manually light the it to go on and said damper had enough air so didn't need to be left open. We had moved in just a 2 weeks ago so wanted to make sure it was safe.

the service person came, I paid my 91.80 service call on 12/7/15. I am waiting to hear back from them on the new parts needed, and then to have them come back out to install them. The service tech was great, and i am hoping the rest will be great as well.
