NEW SUPERIOR TUB REFINISH CORP

Very good experience.

Superior sent someone over to look at the job and gave us an estimate. They told us it would be $850.00 and we scheduled an appointment for the next Saturday at 9am. That Saturday morning around 7am we had a plumbing problem and I called the office immediately and left a message saying we would have to cancel. The workers showed up at 8:45 and while I was explaining the problem to them, their office called them telling them about our cancellation. I expected to reschedule on Monday but around noon on Saturday, the office called and asked if I would like to have the work done the next day SUNDAY. Antonio showed up on time, was very professional in masking everything off, vented the fumes out the bedroom window and the job took about 6.5 hours. He informed us that we had to wait 24 hours before we could remove the masking and use the bathroom. He said the smell would be gone the next day. It actually smelled for 2 days and we had to keep the fan running all day to exhaust the smell. We are very pleased with how the bathroom turned out and recommend re-glazing as a cost effective option to anyone that wants to redo their bathroom. My only suggestion is that you should spend the extra couple of hundred dollars and have your bathroom re-caulked BEFORE you have it re-glazed.

I had a bathroom put in my house and the workers made a gouge in the bathtub while putting it in. It had to be repaired. Superior Tub Refinish Corp was not suppose to come out in my area, but they did come help me. They did a great job!

This company is wonderful. The time between the initial phone call and the completion of the job was less than a week. The workmen were on time, courteous, extremely efficient, and did a very thorough job of cleaning up. I was so pleasantly suprised by the outcome, I decided to go ahead with another project that unfortunaely this wonderful company does not include in it's services. Am not having as much luck with this new work, which only makes me appreciate more the overall quality of this company's workmanship. I wish I could have them for everything. Have no qualms about using them, the finished project is well worth the price, as is the experience with the workmen.

Called for an (in-home visit) estimate. He stopped by at the exact time we agreed upon (same week) and sized up the grouting issues and quoted that it would only be $100 more (we have a very small bathroom, less than 5 square feet). When I decided to go ahead, the appointment with Superior only needed a week. They finished the job that same day with one person, Steve. Steve was very professional, courteous, and prompt. My grout and tub refinish took about five hours because Steve's assistant could not make it. The job looked great the second day it was done. Also, my bath was papered over so that garbage and cleanup was very easy and clean. Also, due to dent or pock marks on my old tub, I had to ask Steve to smooth over a couple of minor surfaces. Again, he was prompt, courteous and professional on the follow-up. My bathroom looks great! And, I just wish Superior did all types of home renovation because the customer service is excellent. They do what they promise to do!

I can't believe what a change this has made! The tile is white and beautiful! We have some white particulate on the window, where it was not covered properly, but that is the only problem. I am so happy that we could save the tub, because it is really huge and was the only thing I liked about the bathroom. However the peach color wasn't working for me. Superior fixed that!

My lousy flooring guy dumped some serious chemical stains on my decent tub, turning it into an unsellable mess. The stains wouldn't come out no matter what I tried, and I tried everything. Then Superior Tub showed up with just 2 days notice. they were in and out in a jiffy. Totally professional. It was obvious that these guys were pros. The tub looked great.

The previous condition of the bathroom tub, sink and wall tiles was very bad. Original deco tiles from the 1930's, and after years of neglect, they were completely discolored. The deco tub and sink were also in pretty bad shape. The kitchen sink is from the 1950's, and again, I wanted to save it as they cost a fortune today if you can find one that has been refinished. I read the reviews about Superior Tub Refinish Corp on Angie's List, and decided to have them come out and provide an estimate. I was out of town for the estimate, but my sister met with Steve, who was very professional. We agreed a price for all the work, and they came back in two days to do the work...MY GOD, I cannot describe how amazing my bathroom looks now. In the past, guests were afraid to use my bathroom, even though it was always kept very clean. Steve and his team completely transformed it. It's incredible. The kitchen sink looks amazing as well. For the money, Superior Tub Refinish Corp offers great value, and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Called Superior Tub and was able to get an appointment right away. I called a few times to find out how to prepare, including whether I should caulk my tub before or after. On the day of the appointment, they were running late, but kept me informed with several phone calls. Once the workers were here, they told me that the smell would be minimal which was true, instructed me on when and how to remove drop cloths and covers and gave me instructions via a pamphlet on how to care for the refinished tub. The job took all of one hour.

I found Superior to be highly rated on Angie's List, therefore I called and scheduled an appt to have my tub reglazed. They scheduled me for the same week. On the day of service, the technician Antonio arrived on time and with all supplies in tow. He was very thorough when covering all surfaces with protective plastic in the bathroom prior to applying the glaze. He worked efficiently and was very nice. The job was completed within 2.5 hours, and Antonio left the plastic covering on all surfaces, instructing me to give it 24 hours to dry. I did so and the result was highly satisfactory. I actually gave the tub more like 48 hrs. To dry, since my bathroom does not have a window and the tub still felt a bit "tacky" after only 24 hours. I found Superior's price to be very competitive, and I liked the fact that they offered a $25 coupon/discount to Angie's List members. I would use them again and recommend them to anyone in need of this service.

The job is okay, it's not 100%. There are a couple of rough spots. It's a lot better than it was before. They also had to take the hardware off, and when I called the plater, they wouldn't come back and replace. If that's not part of the deal, they should have told me. B+. I might look around for a different contractor next time.

I'm very satisfied with the work. The overall experience was very good. After the work was done, I needed a few minor repairs and they were very responsive. The repairs were done a year later, and their response was very quick, and I find this company very reputable. Picking this company was a good choice!

Nice job. I'm happy with the result. Easy communication with the office and the worker. The office did provide the insurance certificate required by my stuffy building way in advance. Smooth operation.

Overall I good experience.

The job went well without a hitch. The technician showed up promptly at the agreed upon time and got right to work. He accomplished the job efficiently and paid careful attention to protecting all surfaces in the bathroom as he worked. The entire job took about 2 1/2 hours. The end result is great, like having a brand new tub!

Arrived as promised. Protected all surfaces. Did a very good job, but missed a small spot. When called about the missed spot, made an appointment to fix it. Arrived on time and fixed the probem spot. All in all a very competently done job.

I had the tub refinished once before(not by this company). The previous job was OK but a few cloudy areas and dings made it necessary to have more work done. The tech from superior showed up on time. He masked off everything including the clothes in an adjacent dressing area! The tub looked really great when he finished, but the next day I noticed a couple of small runs. I called them and they were here early the next day and fixed them. It looks like a new tub and I would recommend them to anyone, which is no small compliment when you have had experience with many subcontractors in Manhattan.

Worker showed up within the specified time period. The prep work took longer than the actual re-glazing/re-finishing work Worker was diligent and courteous. He made sure that the bathroom was completely protected. The tub came out great! It was a cream-colored tub and I had it painted white...cannot tell that it was a different color. The whole process from start to finish took around 2.5 hours.

Great work. After the first visit, there were patches that were not completely re-glazed, but then they promptly came back to fix the work. Recommended without reservations.

The worker showed up on time, worked diligently for 3 hours and left me with a perfect tub. He stripped the tub of all of its old layers so thoroughly that it looked like a new tub before it was even repainted. He covered every surface with protective paper and tape and was very careful moving about my newly-renovated apartment.

VERY RESPONSIBLE OWNER...CAME ON TIME AND SPENT ABOUT 3 HOURS ON JOB HAD A COUPLE OF DRIP MARKS WHEN FINISHED, POINTED THEM OUT TO ME & SAID HE WOULD COME BACK NEXT WEEK TO FIX (COULDN'T FIX THEN AS PAINT WAS TOO WET) DIDN'T ACCEPT ANY MONEY TILL JOB WAS COMPLETE...CAME BACK AS STATED & FIXED BEAUTIFULLY.

The worker was extremely courteous, congenial, and helpful in emptying out everything in the bathroom. He worked continuously and finished within two hours, after having arrived promptly.

Worked hard throughout the day. Were very thorough with their work and attention to details. Took every effort to protect existing fixtures as well as keep the rest of the apartment clean. I pointed out specific hard to reach places to glaze. Steve (the reglazer) made a good effort to reach those areas. At the end of it, he explained the process well and how to maintain the work done. I was very happy with their work.

The job was finished very quickly...way under 3 hours. My tub looks beautiful.

As I said, except for some little tiny bumps on the sink, we love it. We will see how it hold up...not sure about that part because have never had this done...they do guarantee it for a few years (unless you have used abrasive cleaners, (which is now a no-no) they will come back and fix. Oh, and I told the technician that I hated looking at the dingy underside of the pedestal sink when I took a bath, so he went ahead to do that area as well without any complaints or add-ons.
