Post Office - Rockaway Point

They wouldn't deliver packages and would leave the notices saying that they went to your apartment and there was no one home, but that was never ever the case that they actually rang the bell. They just didn't do it even though they entered the building. They would give your packages to strangers and just people who weren't authorized to receive them. It was really awful. They just didn't want to be bothered with ringing your bell or letting you know it was there, so I had to constantly speak with the supervisor at the post office who was cool and he would say to me that he'll have someone come back to deliver the package. When we would get a notice and go to the post office the package wouldn't be there and would still be out with the carrier and so I'd waste my time going there. It's was terrible and now that we are in Lexington they come to your door and we get our packages promptly and it's a totally different experience. There was some other person working there before their current manager who was very rude, but the main problem there was that you couldn't get your packages delivered to you even when you were home. We ended up going to the post office all of the time and it was ridiculous. I think the postal prices are high and their boxes are especially expensive. I used to dread having to go there or having to call them.
