They were very efficient, thorough, clean, and on time. I liked everything about them in general. Their price is pretty average, but I haven't compared all that much.

The project was supposed to be finished in November. There was a slight delay, and the project was not finished until December. They did quick work, and installed the windows well. They did a good job cleaning up, and with the installation in general. They were punctual and professional.

Initially, I was thrilled. I could open my windows and see out of them and then one day a few months later, when it was raining I noticed a small puddle of water under the kitchen window. I looked closer and the floor had sunk. Upon further inspection, I could see a small stream of water running down my wall from the bottom of the window sill. More inspection, I found more winows leaking with more ruined floors. I finally determined the problem to be insufficient caulking on the outside, which I fixed myself. I wasn't waiting for more damage. I didn't bother to call the company either, I figured they would tell me its my problem because my house is old and there is no soffit to direct the rain from the windows. Also, I cannot put my 10,000 btu AC in the window, they only open up to 12 inches. You can take out a pane of window entirely, but then your opening is enormous.

The salesman Bryon was a nice guy and he gave us a fair price for energy efficient vinyl windows. The installers were here when they were supposed to be, approximately 3 weeks from the time we gave our deposit. The installers, Ted and Mike, were quick and efficient, they did an excellent job. They did little extras that they were not required to do but made the finished product and our experience with Window World even better. They cleaned up after themselves so you could not tell they had even been here. The only problem was the salesman had not measured our bedroom windows correctly so they could not be installed on the first visit. They were installed three weeks later by the same two installers with the same efficiency. They only problem I had with Window World was the fact we needed to call them about the replacement windows a couple of times. They did not seem to be in a hurry to finish the job. I would recommend them because they did do a great job when all is said and done.

Price was unbelievably low! Product seems decent so far but is stil rather new. They offer a lifetime waraantly but given their performance during installation I question if it is worth anything. Took 1 year, including a winter, from order for installation to be completed correctly with numerous phone calls, store visits, and appointments to correct situation. They claim there is now new management and problems are being corrected. They did knock a few hundred off the price to make up for problems.

Our first experience with them was ok; however, not great. The windows themselves are nice, though it took longer than we were told to get them installed; however, the cleanup left much to be desired. There were pieces of old window and glass over the front lawn. We called and complained and they apologized and promised that we would be very happy if we did business again. We contracted them later that year for new bedroom and basement windows and a glass door. They came and took measurements, a $2,500 deposit and left. Then we got several delays that went on for 13 weeks till the windows were ready. They sent out someone to double check the measurements and FINALLY they arranged delivery. Then the total screw up came to light. Three of the windows (the windows that were most needed) were 3 inches too short and 1 1/2 inches too wide. After taking our money and waiting 13 weeks, on the day of the install they told us they could not remove the window and install the door. The installers were not even aware that they were to put a door in!! They only could do less than half of our order because of this!! We canceled the rest of our order and demanded our money back. We were very unhappy with the quality of the service. We would not do business with them again or recommend them.

So far the deal itself was a very decent deal at a very good price. They haven't come out yet to do the work so I can not really grade their quality, but they were very prompt and seem to be good.

They are going to come out to my home and install windows for me. I was hoping for the 189 windows but they had to up the price for some extra work, they also give me a certain amount of time to cancel the contract, the man that came out was very professional. He was very accurate with his estimate. The price that they gave me is locked in. He was supposed to charge me 30 dollars a window for exterior stops, but because he didn't catch it the first time he cut those prices in half to 15 dollars a window. He didn't charge me a disposal fee. I like the fact that they didn't require a full amount up front. I thought the salesman was very personable, he was very knowledgeable about the product and he did not try to sell me something that I did not need, he was very honest and trustworthy. He gave me his business card with his cell number on it and told me to call him at anytime.

The salesman that came initially to give us an estimate was very helpful and knowledgeable; He by far presented the best price. We were in a rush to get the windows installed as there was a hole where the old windows were taken out. We were under the impression that it could be done in 2 weeks, but it took 4 weeks. They also took 3 days to finish a job that should have taken 1/2 day. Overall, we are satisfied with the work they did and will hire them to replace the other windows in the sun porch.

They were generally very efficient. However, they put they replaced two of the wrong windows. They initially tried to blame me for their error, although I was there when they wrote up the contract and indicated which windows were to be replaced. The person who took the order wrote down dining room rather than living room when giving the location of the windows. He admitted making that mistake. The sales person and the second in charge both tried to blame me for not being there. However, I had told them in advance that I wouldn't be there and they said it was okay. I also gave them a cell number to reach me at if they needed me. They never called me. However, I did talk to Mr. Straudt, the owner. He seemed very eager to come to an agreement. We both compromised and I was satisfied with the arrangement. They put in the two windows that they were supposed to install , and I also purchased another window from them for the same house.

The salesman was very nice. He went over all the different services offered claiming they were all included at no additional cost. They arrived early on a Friday and worked all day. It wasn t until the next day that we noticed the substandard job they did. Windows were skewed and some were nearly falling out of the house. We had an expert installer review their work. They failed miserably. When they returned Sunday, we pointed out all the problems and they were not happy. We had problems with framing all throughout installation. Rotten wood was covered up instead of replaced. The install foreman was accommodating but aggressive. It all came down to promises made by the salesman. We now know that none of the services he had promised were included as part of a standard installation, and the installers weren t as skilled as the company claimed. After weeks of double-talk and passing blame, we ultimately got all the service from them that their salesman had promised at the agreed price.

Overall, it went pretty good. The delivery was approx. 2 weeks late than scheduled. Because of this two week delay I rated punctuality a B instead of an A. This delay may have been caused by some custom finishes. Once scheduled it also had to be rescheduled because of weather. During the negotiation I asked that they nail in some sliding that had come loose. The salesman agreed, and this was done by the installer. Unfortunately, about two weeks later one of the pieces of siding worked loose. It must be noted that this was a negotiation add on, clearly beyond the scope of replacing windows. Basically this was a nice extra that didn't work out entirely. When installing the product the contractor really hustled. The crew approached the job with military precision. It was obvious that they were pros. I would have given them a A on quality, but the cleanup left a little to be desired. For several weeks afterward I found nails used for trim around several of the windows.

I did a lot of shopping around and they have the absolute best prices in the area. The windows are the highest quality I could find and are constructed expertly and made to last. They also included the installation in their pricing. This work was done over a couple different visits so I cannot give you the total cost, but believe me when I tell you, they can not be beat!

Saw advertisement in Times Union. Went to office and looked at the windows on display. Set up appointment for representative to come and measure windows. Person showed up on time to measure windows. Signed contract. Was advised time period would be about 6-8 weeks. Was called about installation on 10-23-06 windows installed 10-30-06. When I signed the contract there was no hard sell.
