Perfection roofing did a great job providing a competitive quote, reviewing everything in detail and answering all my questions. I was very pleased with their professionalism when dealing with them. They use a very good product, I am happy with the Owens Corning shingles and the roof looks fantastic. They brought a good size crew and were in and out in 1 day! They removed and hauled away my old shingles and cleaned up any mess. Before I had this new roof put on I had leaks even with light rainfall. Now, after 2 1/2 months and a number of storms later I have no issues. Overall very satisfied and would highly recommend their services.

Perfection Roofing removed the old shingles from my barn and installed new ones. The whole project was completed in a morning and the final cost was exactly the same as the estimate. Workers were at the house before 8:00 in the morning and the work was done by around 1:00. The new barn looks great and they did a good job of cleaning everything up. The estimate I was provided with was the lowest of the three that I received and I am very pleased with the the work that was done. When the house needs a new roof, Perfection Roofing will be the first company I call.

I used Perfection Roofing three years ago for my flat roof. Last week, we had a big rainfall and noticed water dripping out of our bathroom vent. Last week, he said he was very busy but scheduled to come and look at it. Today, he arrived on time and noticed the sealant around the ventilation pipe was cracking. He put a fresh coat of sealant around both ventilation pipes and didn't charge me money. I've called roofing companies and many were a no-show so I'm impressed about him arriving on time and for a minor job. Thanks for looking at my roof for me.

He provided his service in a very professional matter, did a great Job, very honest and great customer service. Definitely will use him again if needed.

They communicated very well with me prior to the work being done and made changes to the specs per my request. The crew showed up on time, finished by 2 PM and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. Very hard working crew and we are very happy with the finished product. We plan on using them for some additional soffit work next year.

Paulo and Tom were excellent to work with. They explained the process and materials they would use in detail. A sample book was provided so we could see the roof color choices. Once we narrowed our choices, Paulo supplied us with addresses of homes with our selected shingle colors so we could see more than just the sample. This was very helpful in making our final shingle decision. An estimated day of installation was given and stuck to. The crew arrived early on a 90 degree day and worked hard to finish the job in one day. We are very pleased with the quality of the materials and the work done. We would definitely recommend Perfection Roofing to anyone needing a new roof.

It went terrible, the guy promised to do the work and never called on those dates or showed up.

Rep was at my house on time - actually before i got home from work. I showed him the problem - lost about 5 shingles. He gave me an estimated price ($235), which he said is the going rate, but said they were booked 2-3 weeks out. We had no indications of problems inside the house, but I was not comfortable with waiting 2-3 weeks. He asked if he could do it right then and I said that would be great - he said he had to make a call. He brought his truck up to the house, said because if looked quick and simple he would do it now - cost $150, check payable to CASH. I agreed. He got his ladder, went up on the roof (2-story colonial), demonstrating why I wouldn't attempt it myself, and made the repair. He removed the shingles that blew off (they were in the gutter), and later explained what caused the problem - originals were not nailed down properly.

This was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Perfection Roofing performed the work exactly as described in the estimate. Paulo Martins, the owner, showed great attention to detail, and was present at the site for critical operations. He recommended Cobra ridge vents to accommodate the steepness of the roof and Grace Ice and Water shield underlayment to provide extra leakage protection over the bay window. The final cost matched the estimate, which was also the lowest of three bids. He has a very highly motivated and hard working crew. They completed the work in one day, including a thorough cleanup of the grounds. Despite the protective cover that they had placed over the side of the house to catch falling roof shingles, some of the falling debris did scrape the glass on one of the storm windows. They replaced the window glass the next day. I am very pleased with result and highly recommend them.

The owner, Paulo Martens promptly responded to our inquiry. Found him to be knowledgeable, professional and personable. He came across as someone who wants to work with you in solving your problems. We had three other estimates. In every aspect he was very competitive. Also there was no 'What can we do to get you to sign today' routine or over estimating the roof's square footage. The job took a day and a half. All was done, neat and clean. Also, the careless driver of the shingle delivery boom truck ran over one of two mature 'golden cypress' bushes. Both had to be replaced. Paulo immediately took responsibility for their replacement and reimbursed us promptly. I would highly recommend Paulo and his crew.

The owner kept in constant contact with me by phone for delivery of materials and advance notice for doing the job. The Contractor showed up on time and on the date promised. The crew that did the work were excellent. They arrived in the morning and went straight to work. It appeared that each worker had a specific job to do and did it extremely well. The owner came back several times to check to make sure everything was going well. It could not have been better. The cleanup was practically spotless when finished. They completed the job by mid-late afternoon. My house looks brand new with this roof. I am very pleased and will recommend this Contractor to anyone I know who may be in the market for a new roof.

After we signed the contract the owner scheduled the job for the week that we requested. Due to weather, the job had to be pushed out a couple of days. However, he kept in contact with us and we agreed to have the job completed a couple days later. The team showed up on time and worked very hard until the replacement was completed. The team was very respectful of our neighbors, which we appreciated as we live in a very urban area. It took 2 days for the full replacement, including a lot of decking replacement. The team was very professional and provided outstanding quality of work. We couldn't be more happier with the quality of the work. The fact that the price was also right where we had hoped was a huge bonus.

The work was completed as agreed upon in our contract. Everything from demolition, installation and clean-up went flawlessly. The crew arrived at 7:00 a.m. and worked twelve hours the first day and the the entire project completed with only two additional hours on the second day. Paulo, the owner, saw to every detail and could not have made the experience any easier for me, the homeowner. Additionally, he would not take any payment for the work, not even a down payment, until all of the work was completed to my satisfaction.

This was an urgent situation as the ice was causing water leaks and damage inside our home. The first person I called said he could come in a few days, and Paulo said he'd find a way to be there in a few hours. He called about two hours later, showed up with two men and several ladders, and got the challenge taken care of within an hour--honored his price, was professional, knowledgeable, and respectful.

He is booked but I was able to influence him with my charm. I have called three providers from Angie?s List but his professionalism gave me a sense of trust. He have already gone over and beyond to make sure he takes of things. When I call him, he comes so he hassles for me. I appreciate Angie?s List for having him on their list. He charges $225 for the first hour then $125 for the additional hours. I thought that is pretty reasonable. He discussed what the problem was and gave some suggestions to prevent problems. He did not even have to shovel my driveway but he did that. I have been really lucky with him.

We had to wait a while for the job to be done, but this was not the roofers fault, but was weather related. The price was fair and the quality of the work was very good. I would hire them again if additional work was necessary.

Paulo was very responsive from first contact, worked around my wacky schedule that involves nights and weekends and we met for the estimate. Originally contacted in summer of 2013 and set roof work for Oct/Nov. Well, we were also doing a whole house reno (siding, new windows, doors, and closing off outdoor sunroom to be a 4 season room) and blew the budget. I sheepishly called Paulo when I realized I was out of funds and explained my situation to his answering machine. He called me back later that day and said, "No problem. Hold on to the original estimate and call me when your ready." We were so relieved. I promised him he would be getting a call in the spring. I had a lot of different trades working at the house over the next few months and once they knew I was doing the roof too they all who knew a guy that did roofing. So I would hear them out and get an estimate. No one touched Paulo's estimate (one was $12k?! are you kidding me?). So after one of the worst winters in memory, we called Paulo at the end of March and he put me on the schedule. Spoke with Paulo a few times leading up to the work date, we upgraded to a better roof wrap then just tar paper. So the guys came in mid-April 2014 and went to work. Very clean on the tear down. I think I found 1 or 2 nails in the lawn which was great compared to the siding guys who worked in the snow and left about 100 screws and nails behind. There was some shingle debris in my in-ground pool cover but it was full of water and leaves after the long winter and was not a big deal. Three guys tore it down in the rain, at one point it was pouring. They covered the roof and told me they had to quit. I understood. My father was in surgery that day so I was in the hospital for most of it. Imagine my surprise when I came home and they were back on the job and the guys were cleaning up the teardown and had 1/2 the new roof done! The next day they returned and finished on a raw windy spring day. I was back and forth to the hospital all day. When I returned just one of the guys was there finishing up. I live next to the upper Hudson River and the wind can really get kicking. There were shingle bags all over the property. I figured I'd help out and started picking them up from where they were tangled in the landscaping a edge of the woods. The worker came down off the roof and started running, like real running, and picked them all up! I thanked him for his hard work and gave him some Gatorade. Paulo showed up to haul away the debris and we talked. At the last second I decided I wanted gutter covers because the old ones stunk. Paulo did a quick estimate, ordered them and said he'd back in the next week to install them. And he did. Overall, very happy with the work. Later in the year I noticed one of the exhaust pipes on the back side of the roof was cracked, but not a big deal. I'm a pretty capable DIYer so I climbed up on the roof and slid a length of PVC pipe over it with some construction adhesive. I t was more cosmetic than anything else. Very happy with the roof and Paulo's shingle color recommendation with our siding was spot on. All the neighbors say the roof really pops with the new siding.

You could not ask for a more professional job. Paulo Martins and his workers were awesome. We had a slate roof replaced with asphault. Everything was cleaned up and removed with no issues. He was always there to answer your call and questions. Very Very helpful. I have recomended him to other people because I am totally satisfied with the work, price, professionalism and final job.

From start to finish this was one of the best experiences I've had with anyone who I've hired to do work on my home. From our first conversation, to walking through exactly what was to be done, the price, the timeliness of the work , and the effort and care of the actual crew working on the project. I couldn't give higher marks for my experience with this company. Would definitely recommend them to a neighbor,friend or family.

Arrived as soon as weather allowed. Installed the Roof. Protected bushes around the house with tarps to avoid damage and gather old roofing. Cleaned up all debris from the old roof. The new roof looks great.

Very prompt return of my initial call in 5/2014 (Mr. Martins was out of the country!) Came to my house himself and inspected my roof and gave me a written estimate. Was still willing to work with me when I had to delay getting the roof replaced 6 months later due to problems dealing with my home owners insurance company. Started the work promptly on 11/4/14 and completed the work as promised on 11/5/14. The roof looks great! His co-workers were very polite and prompt. They cleaned up all the material and debris and left me some replacement shingles to have on hand. Mr. Martins was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He gave a lot of free advice even before I hired his company to replace my roof. I am very happy to have my new roof before the winter starts. Peace of mind is a wonderful thing! Would recommend Mr. Martins and Perfection Roofing in the future. He stood by his initial estimate. There were no surprises. He gave me suggestions for selecting the roof color. Quality materials were used as promised. Looking forward to many years with my new roof!
