The end product looked like a photo I would see in a high end designer magazine. I don't usually recommend businesses but Eldi Landscaping is above the others for quality of their work with a very competitive price. You won't be disappointed

From the initial consultation to the final clean-up, his professionalism and attention to detail were exceptional. He provided a clear and detailed quote, outlining all materials and labor costs upfront, with no hidden surprises. His team worked efficiently and respectfully, keeping the worksite clean and organized throughout the project. Most importantly, the retaining wall itself is sturdy, visually appealing, and built to the exact specifications we discussed. Eldi is not only a skilled craftsman but also a reliable and communicative professional; he addressed all my questions promptly and patiently. I am thrilled with the final result and would definitely hire him again for future projects.

Summary: Quality work for the most part, but may shake you down for more money to complete the job, so make sure that you get your contract in writing. Detail: I had just purchased a new home and needed to have an old retaining wall re-built on short notice, as well as have a drain installed due to some erosion causing the wall itself and the brick flower beds below it to become misaligned and lose structural integrity. I contacted a few companies including Eldi Landscaping. After receiving a rather high initial estimate in person of $16,000 to repair the wall, install the drain, and re-align the flower beds at the bottom of the wall, with a 10 year guarantee, I let Eldi know that I would compare his pricing to that of the other companies I reached out to and would let them know if we decided to go with them. He later texted me and lowered his offer to $13,800 to use new material, or $8,800 to do the job with my existing slate. $8,800 was a great price, we were strapped for cash from the new home purchase, and the stone was still in good condition, so I let him know we were on board with that. The work was started quickly and finished over the course of 3 days. The wall looks good and has been holding up well. However, on the last day he called me downstairs and told me that he wasn't going to fix the flower beds at the bottom of the wall unless we paid an extra $2000. I protested this and reminded him that we had discussed the full job being completed, including that section, and that he offered $8800 to complete the job without my prompting him for a lower price. At this point he essentially told me that he wasn't going to complete the job unless we agreed to pay him the extra money. I looked through my texts with him to find something in writing and realized that he was very careful to not mention specifics about the job in writing and kept all the details of the work that he promised would be completed to phone discussions. In the interest of not having them leave the job half done (while we were having this discussion, the wall was torn down and the hill it was built into all dug up), I stupidly agreed to pay him the extra money. I had offers from other contractors that were lower than the $10,800 I ended up paying, and went with Eldi because they offered the lowest price. I may have gone with another contractor if they quoted me what I actually ended up paying. It was pretty much my own fault for not getting our agreement in writing, but I'm a new homeowner without much experience working with contractors and I feel that Eldi took advantage of this to strong arm me out of more money than we agreed to. Additionally, when they left the job, they did not completely clean up, and filled one flower bed with small rocks (which is what we asked for), and the other with patches of grass, small boulders, and dirt that they had torn up from the hill while working. I later had to pay for a dumpster and remove all of this myself. As I said, the work itself turned out pretty good and was completed quickly. But if you end up working with this company, make sure that everything you need done, including a full cleanup, is documented in writing, with a specified price and signatures from both parties. Otherwise you may find yourself the victim of the classic contractor shake down that I unfortunately fell victim to.

Outstanding customer service and quality of work. They reviewed my plan, listed some alternative ideas to consider, then scheduled and completed the project quickly for a fair price. No hidden fees and no pressure upselling. They arrived when they said they would and, and cleaned the work area when they were done. Highly recommend them for your hardscape needs.

Eldi has now completed two different projects at my home. A large, stone paver project around a pool and a landscape stone wall across my front yard. They were very responsive to our messages and arrived at the agreed time. Pricing was fair as well. Work looks great. I will definitely hire again

The finish product exceeded my expectations. It was reasonably priced and he is very pleasant person to work with, addressed all my concerns.

They were prompt on time clean up afterwards gave me a price every step of the way. I have nothing but praises for them. They did different from other contractors and the fact that they manually did everything and they were able to save some trees we we have been growing for thirty years, including an ornamental tree. The other contractors wanted to come in tractors and backhoes which would have killed my trees. They did an awesome job.

Eldi came to give me an estimate to repair and replace my walkway from the blacktop driveway to the front porch using colored paving stones. The front concrete steps had sunken so low that it was dangerous to use them. We negotiated the color desired and the price for the walk and the steps. Wow, he and his 2-man crew came the next Saturday, worked all day to perfect the design, and they were done by early Sunday afternoon. Elo was friendly, professional, and his team did excellent work. I would recommend him highly. Everyone who has seen the new sidewalk is astounded at its beauty. The work wasnâ t cheap, but it looks like it cost a lot more. D. Hahn, Castleton

After having a few contractors come to give me estimates on my project I was perplexed. I had one low ball and two top end pricing. After meeting with Eldi there was no doubt who I was going to use. Eldi came in a bit more than ½ of the top end contractors and gave us awesome results. I had concrete front steps replaced and a border wall around a garden restored to pristine shape. Antonio is a true master craftsman. The crew came and in 2 days there was nothing left but the beautiful results.

Long story short, Eldi came to the rescue. My previous contractor messed the job up and Eldi and his team came and fixed the project. Eldi understood my frustration and worked very quickly to finish the job correctly. Eldi and his team are awesome. Would definitely recommend to anyone without hesitation.

The quality of the work is top notch. The work and friendliness of the crew are excellent, if you are patient and communicate, the language barrier is not an issue really. I plan to call them again for my next project.
