A & J Plumbing/Heating

Tim returned my call about 15 minutes after I made it late in the day. He responded to my vague, panicked description of the noises I was hearing in my septic system with questions that enabled him to suggest what might be happening and asked if he could come that evening about 8 pm. He arrived promptly, got right to work prying off the rusted cover and described how the system should function and what the problem was with the pump. He proposed installing a new pump and new cover because it was rusted on the underside and pieces were falling onto the pump. He would also seal the cover to the basin to prevent possible odor. This is typical of Tim's work. Another plumber would just replace the pump but Tim completes the job leaving me with a beautiful septic system and pristine work area. He also installed a kitchen faucet all at a reasonable rate. Tim Mink is my only plumber from now on.

Tim came in about an hour at the end of the day. He got right to it and fixed the leak quickly and without any difficulty

Tim arrived promptly, diagnosed and fixed the problems within half an hour. He was just great. Our house is an old one which has been redone many times over its hundred year history. He and his partner were not thrown by the idiosyncrasies. A plus was the good sense of humor and advice on a problem in our daughter's home. Nice Thanksgiving eve present!

A & J did not show up to provide estimate on agreed date. However, the contractor did call to apologize, hence I'm upgrading my previous review.

The plumber is simply amazing. He is very knowledgeable and was able to explain the issue with our faucet make/model as well as compared it to the other ones that we have in the house. He explained the problems and fixed them quickly. I should also point out that this was the second plumber that we had look at the issue, but he refused to criticize others. He pointed out to us that some problems are tricky - not every plumber has seen every problem. Very knowledgeable and very, very professional. A+++. If only every professional could be as good as A&J

I have had 2 very positive . One was an emergency and even though it was late on a Sunday and he was an hour away, he still came to unclog my kitchen sink. The second time was a scheduled visit to fix a toilet flushing issue. Both times it was very reasonably priced and it was obvious he had my best interest in mind.

This was my first time using AJ Plumbing and Heating. Tim was very professional and prompt. He came out and did an estimate that was spot on. He picked up the parts for me and was even early for my scheduled time. He thoroughly checked for leaks after the repairs. I would highly recommend Tim.

I called A&J plumbing after breaking the drain pipe from the washing machine. Tim showed up in about 15-20 minutes to look at it. He proceeded to fix problem by cutting the pipe in wall and replacing the drain. He had the needed parts on his truck. Very pleasant and efficient. Also checked the intake water valve to be sure it worked properly.

It was great! The expensive plumber told me that fixing the valve would involve cutting the pipes and ripping out the walls. A&J calmly fixed the problem in minutes and relieved the anxiety. I had been told the job would cost thousands of dollars and it was done so inexpensively by A&J that I was flabbergasted.

Tim was courteous, prompt, and fast. A+ work.
