They arrived promptly and worked efficiently for 9 hours. They sent three movers and made two trips. They were extremely careful and we had no damage to our furniture.They were pleasant and professional.

They arrived promptly at scheduled time.  Worked diligently.  I will use them again without question.  VERY HAPPY!!!

Scheduling service was a breeze but was quoted two different prices as they weren't sure if they would be able to send 3 or 4 guys to help move.
Moving day morning, 3 guys showed up when expected and started wrapping furniture in blankets and loading the truck accordingly as our stuff was going to two different locations. First stop was a storage unit where they proceeded to just shove things in, not listening to our requests to put things a certain way. They were getting paid by the hour so should have been more accommodating. Since the storage unit got packed rather inefficiently, we had to rent a second one there on the spot temporarily until we could reorganize them ourselves.
Next stop was the apartment. At this point I think they were just eager to be finished at this point because they got a bit aggressive with some of the furniture and much of it ended up getting damaged.
I have made more difficult moves with a greater amount of furniture and farther distances with better service for less. I will be trying a different mover for my next move.

The movers arrived on time and were courteous and careful. All of our
furniture was wrapped in blankets and loaded. The work was efficient and
no time was wasted. It was unloaded in the same courteous and efficient
manner on the other end. Nothing was lost or broken. I will use them
next time we move and have already recommended them to a friend.

The crew was on time both days and finished ahead of estimated time both days, saving us money. None of our property was damaged during the move. I would definitely recommend this mover!

Excellent, from start to finish.  Fast, efficient, friendly.  Nothing lost, broken or damaged.  
Price quote was the best of three (and was half as much as the highest).  
Crew arrived promptly on time and did an excellent job loading and unloading.  Truly impressive how hard these guys worked for nearly 12 hours straight.   We had a lot of stuff (3600 sq ft house), having lived in the same house for 10 years.   It took 6 guys and 3 trucks but they got it all done in one day, which was faster than the original estimate.  And even though it took an extra truck, they honored the original bid.  
The owner was great to work with.  He even stopped by to check on the job mid way through.  
We've referred Carney's to three friends already (two of whom have used them with similarly top notch results).  Can't say enough good about Carney and his crew.  This is a company with integrity and commitment to customer service.  Use Carney.  You'll be glad you did.

Happily gave me a quotation over the phone after I described our situation.  Two guys (Raymond and Jose)  arrived on time and worked hard and fast and had us all moved in about 3 hours.  Price was under the estimate!   I was very pleased with the care with which they handled our stuff and how patient they were with us since we were a little up-tight about some things.  This seems like an easy outfit to deal with; they called to confirm on the Saturday before our Monday move.  They showed up on time and didn't waste any time.   I would use them again if I had to move.

They are just excellent.  Professional, know what they are doing and have good equipment.  I couldn't be happier.  He is very reasonable in price. I like them so much I will use them next week.

The initial encounters with Carneys was great. The owner was out to do an estimate immediately and was very personable. He promised to have a full crew out to do the job and quoted me a really great price. I decided to not even call for additional quotes because his price was so great and I had friends who had used Carneys in the past.
The day of the move, the crew was hard working and made a point of telling me directly when 2 items broke which I appreciated knowing in advance rather than finding the items broken at the other end of my move.
What was not great- I was paying for my storage cubes by the foot so after filling an entire cube completely, the crew filled up the second but not nearly as tightly. I ended up paying for a full 2 storage cubes (pods) when I might have saved several feet with a tighter packing job on the second pod.
The worst part- at the end of the job, as I was extremely stressed and rushed (as all people are when moving, right?), I was told that the final price would be almost $500 more than I was originally quoted.

Update: What I should have done was immediately call the owner with my concern about the overcharge. When my husband did, several weeks later, the owner was extremely responsive and even refunded us 1/2 the overcharge after explaining why it happened in the first place. I appreciated his quick response very much and I'm updating my review to reflect my satisfaction regarding this issue.

Overall it went very well. They arrived on time with four-men. They worked quickly and efficiently.

My whole service from the quote until the move went smoothly.  My final price was slighly lower than quoted because the movers were really fast and efficient and they were super careful as well.  If I ever need to move again I will call Carney's.
