Northern Nevada Hardwood Floors

My house was built in 1911. To my knowledge the floors had never been refinished. They had always been covered with carpeting of some kind.  The stains in every room were significant.
I called NNHF for an initial estimate August 2014.  Syrus Beck was polite and punctual and did a thorough evaluation for each room. He explained the process and the possibility that some of the more severe stain damage may not be remedied
even with a deep sanding. I explained that I understood the deficiencies and wasn?t expecting perfection. At the time of the estimate I was still in the middle of heavy renovation and explained that I would need services within six months.  He said it was no problem and to just give a call when ready.
I contacted NNHF in January 2015 and we booked our date for February 2015.  NNHF honored the August 2014 estimate and completed the work in five days.  When I walked through the front door I couldn?t believe my eyes. The finished product was absolutely amazing! All the rooms were so beautiful and the stains were imperceptible. I couldn?t have been more pleased. 
The only downside was the tung oil application. While the floors looked great, the newly painted baseboards and some of the walls were splashed with oil.  I had to have the painters come back to prime and repaint all of the baseboards and touch up portions of the walls.  However, I guess it is to be expected, paint first or refinish floors first , is always a dilemma due to touch ups in one or the other.
Overall, I would hire Syrus and the NNFH team again and highly recommend them for any hardwood flooring needs. They do fabulous work at a fair price.

very clean worksite. flexible with our change orders. timely once work was started. interlaced with existing wood floors the best one could do (new mixed with old at room transition); cool matching floor vents.

Our house is 19 years old. We've lived here for 8 years. The floors were not refinished until last week.
Northern Nevada Hardwood Floors replaced pet stain damaged boards, sanded and refinished our hardwood in four rooms downstairs. We had to leave the house for a week. We came home to a floor that looks new.
Our house goes on the market in another week. Our floors are lovely.

The best thing about Northern Nevada Hardwood Floors is that they didn't leave any dust behind. They did an excellent job as far as that.

We had several rooms of hardwood floors refinished this summer and we couldn't be happier with the job they did. Steve, the estimator and supervisor was wonderful. He fully explained the process and was definitely hands on with every aspect of the job. The crews who actually did the work were very prompt, friendly, polite and were very carefull with everything. The finish carpenter they employ did beautiful work on the baseboards and shoemolding. He had his work cut out for him since our old walls are rounded at some corners. Every detail of the job was explained to us and we were very safisfied with the overall experience.
My neighbor also had NNHF's refinish their floors this summer and they were extremely happy as well. In fact we spoke with them before getting an estimate for our house. This company is the real deal. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again.

We were recommended to them by friends who had been happy with their work in the recent past. We went to their store, looked at the product and picked out some samples which we brought home. Then they sent their person who measures and prepares the estimate.We signed the contract and the laminate was ordered. It took about 10 days to arrive and then was delivered to our home to acclimate.Several days later the work was done. It took one whole day to remove the old stuff, prepare the floor and install the laminate. The work was very professional and done to perfection. The clean-up afterwards was immaculate. The whole experience was perfect and we are very happy with how our new floor looks. I would highly recommend this company.
