Garrett is fantastic. Last year, we moved out of our condo into a house and turned the condo into a rental. I bought a Groupon for carpet cleaning from Details. At that time, he did more than I thought would be covered with the groupon : stain removal, didn't count the hallway as a room and counted the dining room/living room as one. I decided then, I would definitely use them in the future. I just had him come back (~ 1 year later) as one set of tenants moved out before the next ones moved in. I asked him for a price for all the carpets, tile floors and granite counter tops. He quoted me a price per task, but said he would give me a package deal once he was able to get in and check everything out. He showed up right on time, looked around and told me he could do it all for significantly less than his original quote. I agreed, then left while he worked. He called when he was done. Everything looked fantastic! the few things he couldn't quite fix, he explained why (certain products leave a rainbow sheen on the granite, for example). It was much better than I expected. I asked if he accepts tips and his response was "It's not expected". I gave him $30 and still feel like I got a screaming deal.
He is very nice, easy to talk to, professional, flexible, etc. I'd highly recommend him to anyone looking for carpet/tile/granite cleaning.

The carpet was NOT cleaned. It was steam-sterilized but the "cleaning" was virtually nothing better than a good vacuuming. Garrett is friendly and personable and I chose him because of high praise I found on ther web sites. He wasn't able to schedule a cleaning immediately but I was even willing to wait over a week for him because of these recommendations. On the scheduled day, he arrived over an hour late (although he did call to let me know he was delayed). However, the "cleaning" was extremely poor. The carpet looked almost exactly the same after he was finished, except for the brush strokes from his steamer. He does not shampoo the carpet. The steaming does not actually remove dirt, just "sterilizes" it (as he put it). I had to have another carpet cleaning company do the job he didn't do correctly (at an additional cost of $275). The second carpet cleaner said he'd never seen such an "unacceptable" job in his 10 years of experience. Don't believe the praise of his Internet shills on other web sites. He seemed inexpensive but in the long run ended up costing me even more. Save your money and get it done right from the start, not from this guy.
