Dealing with this company has been a nightmare. I initially got referred to them by another closet company that didn't do exactly what I was looking for, and they said ESP would. I had preliminary designs in hand, which I forwarded to ESP. My first sign that there might be trouble came when, well over a week after I had been promised an estimate, I still hadn't heard from them. When the initial estimate arrived, it was well within range, so I proceeded, but every step of the way was like pulling teeth. Phone calls and emails were NEVER returned promptly -- what should have been a two or three week process of finalizing my preliminary designs took over six weeks. When I signed the contract, I was told it would be three to four weeks until delivery and installation. Of course, this didn't happen either -- it was seven weeks, during which, again, phone calls and emails consistently went unanswered. Finally, they set up a two-day installation schedule. When the crew arrived with the units to assemble, problems immediately arose on the first day -- several pieces were cut incorrectly, but I was told not to worry -- they would be taken care of the next day, since they had to come back then anyway. When they arrived the next day, they completed the work in the living room, but when they started work in the office, they soon discovered there was a major mistake in cutting the major component of that project. In addition, I noticed a couple of other deviations from the design that I had signed off on. They took the problem pieces away, and promised me that I would hear within a day or two when they could come back to finish the installation. Needless to say (again), I heard NOTHING from them on the date promised. Finally, they notified me that they could come and finish the work a week after the date initially set for completion. They came back then, and the pieces that had been cut incorrectly the week before had been sorted out, and they finished the installation -- well, almost, because when they got done they discovered that three additional pieces were missing. So they had to come back the next day to finish up. They left my house a mess -- under time pressure, they ended up doing a lot of sawing and drilling indoors, even though they had set up to do it outdoors. And, to top it all off, the amount ESP has tried to charge my credit card for the final balance is well in excess of the amount agreed to in the contract that we signed. I promptly emailed them -- have I heard anything back from them? Of course not. These people have no sense of professionalism or shame, and I wouldn't go near them again for the world.
