We had a very mixed experience with their services over the past year. There were some positives - they showed up when the said they would, their prices seemed fair, and some of their services were fine. They trimmed several large palm trees. They removed some old, overgrown bushes and weeds. They installed artificial turf in part of the yard. However, there were many negatives. They replaced some of the old, overgrown plants with new plants and included a number of flowers that very quickly died. The flowers were the wrong choice for the amount of sun they got. They did replace them with more desert friendly plants after we spoke with them. Jose fixed that problem so we continued to use their services. Another problem we had involved the sprinkler system and the watering of our grass and plants. We were not in the house much for the first 8-9 months after Jose started doing all of the work. Since we weren't here, we didn't know about all of the problems until more recently. We did find out early on that they had our sprinkler system running a ridiculous amount when they first put in the new plants. When we got the first water bill, we thought there was a mistake. it was insanely high. We called the water company and they told us either we had a leak somewhere or someone must have left a hose running for a very long time based on the amount of water used. We spoke to Jose and he told us he had to water the new plants a lot so they wouldn't die, and that he was figuring out the timers and our sprinkler system. He also told us the sprinkler system needed to be updated & repaired, that many of the sprinkler heads were broken. We agreed to pay him $3500 to fix the system, which he did about 4 months ago. We had him cut back on the watering and were able to get our water usage (and water bill) down to a more reasonable amount.. However, after only a few month several of the sprinkler heads are already broken and leaking. Another problem had to do with a Saguaro Cactus that is in the yard. It is a very large, very old and rare cactus. We noticed recently that it hasn't been looking so great. So, we went online & did some research about the care of Saguaro Cactus. I also called and spoke to a nursery about caring for one. What we learned is that you should not water them at all during the winter. Jose had the sprinkler system watering it weekly - until the other day when I moved the sprinkler head away from the cactus. We also learned that they should only be watered once every 2 weeks in the summer. Jose had been watering it on the same schedule as the rest of the plants in the yard - several times a week. We spoke with Jose about the problems with the sprinkler heads and the over-watering of the Saguaro Cactus. We were hoping he would make good on his work and fix the problems. His response was to tell us find someone else to work to do the work. He made no attempt to repair the sprinkler system he supposedly fixed. We should have gotten rid of them sooner, but we weren't much until recently and they did come recommended. If you need basic yard maintenance, they may be ok. But, DO NOT trust them to put in new plants, install sprinkler, or to care for anything out of the ordinary. We spent a lot of money on their services and we will now need to find someone to fix our sprinkler system and hopefully bring the Cactus back to health.

There was some trimming left in my yard. The price justified the left over mess.

He does an excellent job. He is fantastic. He is very good. His prices can be a little high, but it is worth it.
