Rafael Construction is a successful graduate of the Small Business Administration’s 8(a) program and a proud member of the Nevada Minority Business Council as a minority contractor. Rafael Construction holds both an unlimited “A” General Engineering and a “B” General Building license, and many other trade licenses. We have over 20 years of public works experience covering schools, municipal buildings and facilities, parks, roadways and bridges, and drainage appurtenances throughout the Las Vegas Valley. Our clients include City of Las Vegas, City of North Las Vegas, Clark County Real Property Management, Nevada State Public Works, University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Southern Nevada Water Authority, Las Vegas Valley Water District, Clark County Water Reclamation District, Lyon County School District and Clark County Library District. In the past 15 years, Rafael Construction has continued to grow its private construction business completing commercial projects for various companies and developers including; Southern Highlands Development Corporation, Manhattan Construction, Laurich Properties, MGM Mirage International, Ensemble Real Estate, Schwartz Law Firm, Desert Cab / ODS, Walgreens Co., Orthopedic Specialist of Nevada, and Rafael’s own development projects. Five years ago, Rafael started a Concrete Division offering a full concrete scope for both residential and commercial projects. Lastly, Rafael Construction has successfully completed four LEED projects in the past three years for the City of Henderson, and Las Vegas-Clark County Library District. City of Henderson’s Heritage Park Senior Center is registered LEED Silver, Heritage Park Aquatic Center is registered LEED Gold, Las Vegas-Clark County Library District’s Centennial Hills Library is registered LEED Gold and the City of Henderson’s North Community Police Station is certified LEED Gold.
