Joaquin is very nice but did not deliver. I was promised my yard would look green after a year with him. After 1.5 years, it looks the same (or worse) than it did.

Extremely well for the first year or so, then the year started to deteriorate. Bare patches in yard from cutting too low, some plants cut down so small they died, while others so overgrown they overtook the space. One tree and 3 shrubs completely dead for several months and they never took them out. We did call the owner and had him out a few times to discuss, but no meaningful improvement was made. We started getting HOA complaints about our yard that is professionally maintained, so we had to let them go. I did appreciate that they skimmed the pool and cleared the front door area of leaves. That much was great.

Joaquin is hardworking, professional, honest, trustworthy, client-focused, reliable, and very reasonably priced.  He provides excellent service and extremely high-quality work.  He knows all aspects of the business (irrigation lines, sprinkler systems, controller clocks, plant care).  Impressively, he is also continually studying and learning more: although I was the first client to ask him to work on a native landscape, he had already taken a course on the subject.  (A fact that helped me decide to hire him even though his company had not already been reviewed on Angie's List.)   Joaquin listens carefully to your needs and works with you to ensure that you are happy with his company's work.  I am glad that I found him.
