HARBOR FREIGHT TOOLS USA INC

We purchased a $129-minus $30 sales price for a total of $99, pressure washer. We sued it to wash two cars, one a four door car and the other a two door. At the end of the second car, the unit began smoking. It was a fire hazard and as a result, defective. I had the original receipt and attempted to return the item. When I was told that the company was going to charge me a restocking fee, I was livid. I didn't want to buy another pressure washer from the manufacturer, as I didn't trust them. I just wanted my money back. They wanted a (can't remember their percentage) fee to restock the product. I told them they couldn't resell it as it was defective and a fir hazard. They said any product that is returned has a restock fee, if its not an exchange. No, I said, if a product is defective you can't do that, its a violation of law. Needless to say, I got the entire purchase price back. BUT MOST PEOPLE WOULD LIE DOWN FOR THIS AND ITS NOT LEGALLY CORRECT, NOR MORALLY RIGHT.
