Rich and Tony were knowledgeable and friendly, they had some good suggestions that we hadn't thought of, and so far (about 5 months later) everything still looks and works fantastic. Everything's tight, nothing leaks, and the glass coating they offer makes the doors very easy to clean (most of the time we just squeegee the doors and they come out spotless).
My wife and I were very happy with the quality of their work and their professionalism.
Rich and Tony made final measurements and ordered the glass on August 17th. My general contractor was leaving town on August 26th so I needed the glass installed within a week. Rich and Tony ended up installing on the 26th. It took them 2 or 3 hours. They did a nice job and the glass enclosure looks and works great. Even though the shower enclosure is minimalistic (no top brace bars) it feels very sturdy. FCG was on time and got the job done as promised.
My only issue with FCG is responsiveness. Sometimes it was difficult contacting Rich or Tony. My contractor brought this to their attention and they explained that they do all the installation work themselves, and many times they are too busy to respond immediately to all phone calls. That was a minor issue for us as they eventually did return all our calls.
I recommend Full Custom Glass and would use them in the future.
"My name is Rich and I'm the installer. I would like to paint a breif picture of the members bathroom. This job caught me by surprise when I walked in, the bathroom has been very richfully redone pulling both the shower, and tub out the house originally came with. The tile chosen for the remodel went floor to cieling and is stunningly laid to perfection. I instantly wanted to give them that finishing touch. I also wanted a picture when done. So the measurements are 115" wide by 80" in height. That is a very very large span to cover and be fully supported without wobble. I designed it very minimal and as sturdy as possible with a 36" door that wieghs in @ 110 pounds. These were the requirements givin to me by the member. I must say that if this shower was done by the other companies it would have failed due to how the member explained their proposed installation. The wobble spoke of is maybe a 1/2" total when the door is opening and closing. As stated above by the member I explained to them that they would need a support bar to curb this issue. How ever they didn't want to comprimise. Also the "clack" the member is talking about is when the door is let go by the member and allowed to shut with force against a clear plastic strick used on all my shower enclosures. Frameless showers are of elegance and simplicity. The member would achieve the same result with any shower, especially one with a magnet. I am frustrated that I couldn't please the member, and I expressed that when I went back to the members house."
