Leonard and his crew were amazing professional and my backyard is absolutely beautiful. We had the sheer decent replaced, the pool resurfaced, added deck and had the new and existing deck resurfaced, also we had artificial grass installed and rock. Leonard is easy to talk to and fair with his prices. Any questions I had he answered and explained everything completely. We had a party planned and he went out of his way to make sure it was all done before. I recommend Fix a Pool without reservation it was an exceptional experience!

Very pleased with all aspects of hiring Fix-A-Pool. Leonard, ( The Owner) responded promptly to my request for pricing on our project. He is very professional and knowledgeable in all aspects of pool repair. He gave us very fair pricing on what needed to be addressed immediately, as well as some options of some work we plan on doing to our older pool in the future.He even deducted off some of the quoted cost as he found out that part of the project would not have to be done to complete the work properly. (A truly Honest Man with Integrity) . From the quality of the workmanship provided as well as the interaction needed to complete the project with Leonard, I am definitely sold on using Fix-A-Pool for all of our future pool needs!!! Also, Antonio , who did the work on this project was a complete gentleman , (which I feel is very important when a contractor sends an employee to work at your house). He is a very good person to send to a project to represent your company, who did an outstanding ( neat and clean job ) The tile work ended up looking amazing !

Fix-A-Pool did an outstanding professional job in (re)plastering our 20,000 gallon pool and Spa. I used Home Adviser to identify 5 prospective companies. I then obtained quotes from 4 of them, and based on a set of selection criteria â of which total cost was but one of the items â I eventually selected Fix-A-Pool, They were not the lowest cost estimate, but they edged out the others in several other categories that were just as important to me (i.e. quality and responsiveness of the original estimate, personal impression of the companyâ s background, estimatorâ s knowledge and understanding of the work to be performed). Complicating matters for the pool work I needed to have done, was the fact that (re)plastering the pool was only a part of a much larger backyard rehab project. Therefore, I needed the chipping out of the old plaster and the installation of the new plaster to occur in 2 distinct phases, separated by several months. Fix-A-Pool took the schedule challenges in stride and accommodated several other changes in schedule that were the result of the larger back yard rehab effort. On the other hand, Fix-A-Pool hit every schedule commitment they made to me, even though I had to move them around several times. As for the quality of the work, and attention to detail, Iâ m completely satisfied. There was an initial hic up in the plastering on the Spa, but it was the Fix-A-Pool rep that pointed out to me the deficiency in the Spa plaster and then Fix-A-Pool took the self-initiative to coordinate a subsequent chip out of the newly plastered Spa, and (re)plaster it yet again, to ensure it was done perfect. At every step of the process, Fix-A-Pool was true to their word, took pride in their work, held to their schedule commitments, and ensured the quality of their work.

I HAD SEVERAL BIDS ON THIS REPLASTERING PROJECT, FIX-A-POOL WAS THE ONLY BIDDER THAT ACTUALLY WALKED AROUND THE COMPLETE POOL, CHECKED THE PUMPS, LIGHTING AND ACCESSORY EQUIPMENT. THE BID WAS COMPETITIVE. THE WORK STARTED ON TIME, DONE CLEANLY, AND COMPLETED IN THE TIME AGREED TO. COMPLETELY SATISFIED AND WOULD RECOMMEND THEM FOR ANY POOL WORK. The crew that chipped away the old plaster left behind a lot of debris, when they did a final cleanup of the old plaster left in the pool they stuck it in my trash can I use for recycling and ripped it open, thus ruining it, I was told that it would be replaced and it never was. The pool came out great but I was charge $350 for them to brush and vacuum the pool for the first 3 days, the pool was finished on Thursday so I had to do it on Saturday and Sunday and the filter was only cleaned once along with vacuuming(this service is not worth the price)

Nothing ever goes perfect, but they did their best to make me happy. They went over and above by cleaning my tile. I wasn't expecting that. There was one issue, but a tech came out and fixed everything. I am quite happy with the results of my pool.

The owner Leonard was always very responsive for any questions I mightâ ve had with the job, he was excellent and took care of any problems that there mightâ ve been right away on his own. The workers did an excellent job. I would recommend his company to my friends who have pools .

Came ASAP When called because I had a green pool. We knew it needed replastering They also recommended a new filter. They installed the filter and drained and replastered swiftly all Workers were very competent and the owner was very helpful and gave great advice they came for 3 days and brushed the new plaster and made sure we knew how to continue the process. Oh. A few tiles were broken during the removel of the old plaster and they replaced them! Highly recommend this company.

Amazing job. Transformed our pool from plain to fantastic ! Leonard and his team re-plastered, tiled and put pavers around the pool deck. Laid a cement sidewalk down the side of the house then painted the deck. Being Certified in everything pool, Leonard has the professional level knowledge needed to have it all come together smoothly and efficiently. We could not be happier with Fix A Pool. I bought an old house with an older pool in need of replaster. Needed to have the actuator assembly repaired first - to ensure that all floor pop up jets where actually operational - before beginning an extensive replaster effort as a part of a larger backyard overhaul later this year. Fix-a-pool provided an estimate for the repair/rebuild of the actuator assembly, along with the replaster. They repaired /replaced the actuator assembly and all is working fine now. Price after the job was exactly as quoted prior to starting the job. Looking forward to the fall/early winter, so we can get on with the backyard rehab and plaster replacement on the pool.

Review by Roy P. in Las Vegas, NV Son notified me when I was out of town that pool pump failed. Fix-A-Pool got a man out at 6 am next morning to begin work to replace pump, o ring and change filters. Excellent work, and honest. Most highly recommended.

Professional. They were able to do the needed repairs the next day. Work was top quality. Highly recommended.

These guys are really nice, but they just seemed overwhelmed with the job.

We first spoke to Leonard from Fix a Pool on Thursday 6/21/18. He was expected to come for consultation on that day, but he called to make it the following day which was okay. On Friday 6/22/18 he told us we needed a new capacitor for a filter and we then spoke about draining and acid washing the pool and spa. Also spoke about setting up the timer for the pool and balancing the water as well, which he did not do. He gave us a price, sent us an email and we agreed for the work to be done. He told us he had to order the capacitor and he would be here to start the work on Monday morning 6/25/18 and work would be completed and start refilling the pool back up on Wednesday the 27th. On Monday, he was scheduled to be at my home at eleven. I waited for three and half hours with no communication from him or his company. I finally reached out to Leonard and was told he ran into difficulties on another job and I thought that was reasonable. But not calling to let me know that he was not going to show up was unreasonable. He stated through email after job was completed, "I never asked you to wait for us to be there to drain the pool." Well, I am not comfortable with strangers being in my yard and not being home. He then said, "I told you that we just needed access to the back yard." Once more, this was not said. He also stated "I did call you to let you know about the issues we were having and that we were running behind schedule." Yet again, the only phone call I ever received from Leonard was on 6/21/18. I reached out to him at all times. He finally showed up at the end of the day on Tuesday to drain the pool which took 30 minutes after being told he would be at my home between 2 and 3 another day lost for me. So, three days after scheduled work should have been completed, he finally came to clean the pool which seemed he hurried the job so much he just left leaves and some debris on bottom of pool. Also, with that being said, he came with a teenager who just let himself into my yard without calling or ringing my doorbell. Not a good idea when most homeowners own guns and especially when they show up 2 hours after scheduled appointment. He said he would call me the following day to check on the progress of the pool and spa filling up, but I waited for his call and no call. So once again I had to reach out to him. On Friday the 29th Antonio, a worker for Fix a Pool, came with the capacitor and it was the wrong one. That was not a big problem because Antonio returned soon after with the new one and did a good job. I inquired about cleaning the filter, balancing the pool and setting up the timer. He said Leonard just told him to replace the capacitor. So I had to reach out to Leonard once again. Job still not complete because of miscommunication between Antonio and Leonard. He had to come back the following day to clean filter cartridge. Another day added onto a job that Leonard said should have taken two days to complete is now

Fix-A-Pool completed an Acid/Chlorine Wash on 5/23/2018 to get rid of the algae on the sides of my pool. When the pool was refilled, it look beautiful. In less than a month the algae is coming back. When I contacted Fix-A-Pool I was told it wasn't their responsibly or problem by Leonard (owner). I couldn't believe how horrible a response I received back. Leonard stated that once the pool has the acid wash done algae does not grow back. Well, the algae is coming back no matter what he says. Leonard said algae grows due to lack of chlorine and poor circulation. The chemicals in the pool are perfectly balanced by checking with a dipstick and I even went to Leslies and they stated everything was good. I run my pool filter from 8am-8pm daily with good circulation and oh by the way Fix-A-Pool also cleaned my pool filter which is now leaking. Leonard is trying to come up with reasons the algae is coming back is my fault. I hate a company that will not take responsibility for their work. Don't use Fix-a-Pool if you want their work guaranteed as well as them taking responsibility for their work. I feel like I paid $500 for nothing.

I got a call back within minutes of my request. Leonard was out the next day, assessed the situation and completed the repair later the same day!
