Fabulous as always. I take my vehicles to Dolar's for EVERYTHING. As I have written before, I do this because Mike is as honest as the day is long and there have been multiple occasions in which he has told me that there was nothing wrong with my vehicle or he has explained that the 'clunk', 'squeak', etc. that I was hearing or feeling wasn't a safety issue nor would it result in a breakdown so he wouldn't do anything about it if it were him. There have been times that I have had the repair done anyway, but other times in which I elected to forgo the repair. This time around I had an issue in which the HVAC blend door actuator had failed. Mike (and/or crew) diagnosed and after dropping my car off at 6:00am I had the car back that afternoon. Mike's prices have gone up over the years (labor is about $90/hour), but I will gladly continue to pay a bit of a premium in exchange for Dolar's honesty and trusted work quality.

I have been in there for various mechanical issues over the years. They do all my mechanical work and all the minor maintenance as well. I am glad we found them.

They are skilled mechanics. They seem to be very honest and the prices are reasonable.

Ok so this place is great. I have had my Hyundai Elantra in there a couple of times. Once just to check it out since its a 2005 and I was driving to San Francisco...both of my sons have had to have their vehicles towed there to be fixed. My sister and my niece have also gone there. I just cannot say enough about this place and the owners and office staff. They check out your vehicle, and call you and let you know what needs to be done. They tell you what should be done now and what can be done later. Their pricing is great. They are knowledgeable and just treat you like they appreciate your business. I have told everyone that has mentioned any problems with their vehicles to go to Dolar's Automotive. We are all happy with the service here. I highly recommend them. Please remember to leave them a nice tip, they should know that you appreciate them sweating their butts off when it's 115 degrees outside and your motor is even hotter.

I have been visiting for about 7 years. They provide and very good service. They will not do anything unless it is absolutely necessary. I took my wife's car in thinking the spark plugs needed changed, but they told me I could hold off on doing that. The mechanics do good work and the office staff is great to work with. I have no issues at all scheduling a service. I usually drop the car off in the morning and wait for them to call to pick it up.

Dropped it off for a diagnostic. The mechanic ordered a part from Audi and had me on the road within a couple days. Very pleasant encounter and good communication along the way. I would return here for every repair.

My car was making a lot of noise when I started it every morning. Sounded like a flock of angry birds taking off. Squealing and squeaking. Took car to Dolar's, dropped it off in the morning, and by Noon my car was ready to be picked up. No more noises!! Runs and sounds great!
I have used Dolar's Automotive several times in the past, for both of our cars. We have always been completely satisfied with the price, work done, and most of all the total honesty of this business....several times I thought my cars needed something, only to be told by Dolar that the problem was much less than I had thought (and cost much less as well!!). The work that he performed has ALWAYS corrected the problem! I highly recommend this business.

I brought the car in late afternoon on a Tuesday. I explained the problem in detail to the person at the front desk, we did some paperwork and handed over my keys. Early the next day I got a call from Mike asking me what the problem was with the turn signal. I explained it to him in detail. I also asked him approximately what the cost would be. He called me back a few minutes later and said definitely not more than $332, possibly less depending on what needed to be replaced or repaired. I said go ahead. About 2 1/2 hours later I got a call saying my car was ready. When I asked how much the bill was, she told me $395. When I balked asking why it was $60 more than I was originally told, the woman transferred me to Mike. I complained to Mike and after a minute or two he transferred me back to the front desk. Now the price is $353 including tax. I'll live with it, but don't particularly care for the way the quote got inflated.

I knew what was wrong with the car. They called and told me exactly what I thought it was, and had the vehicle fixed by the end of the day despite having to call the dealership 3 times for the parts. Very friendly and professional.

5 September 2013: Two appointments made
10 September: Took my wife's car in. The performed oil/lube services, inspected the brakes, the tires and the battery. The battery needed replacement, so I had them replace the battery. He also recommendd that the tires be replaced. He said that the tires would be cheaper elsewhere.
12 September 2013. Took my car in. They performed the same inspections on my car as they did for my wife's car. I also needed a battery, which they replaced.
Comments: On both days, they service was fast (less than 4 hours ftom drop off to pick-up), and done in an extremely professional manner. The total cost for both cars was $350. However, the charge for labor was only $20.00 ($10 per car). I highly recommend Dolar's for all your car maintenance needs. If they can't do it, Mike Dolar will tell you.

It went very well. Honest and friendly. Did not come up with any problems with the vehicle.

They looked at my car and were able to determine what was wrong with it in a timely manner. They were very knowledgeable and friendly. I opted to not have the car fixed but when I do get a new car whenever service is needed I will take it here.

They are really quick, really thorough and the prices are always in line with what I pay somewhere else. They are the first choice for any of my automotive stuff.

I have a 2007 Saturn Ion and for a few weeks could smell gas and did not know why.
I just moved here from out of state and do not know anyone to help me. So I checked Angies
list and Dolar's came up and its close to me. I called them early and was advised by Gail that
I need to get it in early the better. I did and was advised I have a cracked fuel pump. I was also advised
that Saturn had a recall on this. Mike Dolar the owner advised me he could fix it or I could take to
GM dealer and get it fixed for free. I was very surprised he told me about the recall and also printed it out for
me to take with me. I did just that. I took over to Finlay cadillac. Michael at Finlay advised me it was not covered.
He did not show any concern for me or even ask more questions. I felt like I had to be the adviser and service my
own car needs. Michael asked me next would I like to leave it...pause.....Keep in mind how I was treated at Dolar's
they cared about me and my car more then Michael at Finlay! Michael did not even show any concern about its safety issue.
I took it over to Dolar's right away. Mike Dolar fixed my car and I will continue to take my car there.
Gail and Mike Dolar are great!

Dolar's seemed incredibly honest and trust worthy. He fixed my window for free! (As in he jammed it so it stays rolled up, which is exactly what I wanted since it wouldn't be worth buying a new window motor for such on old car.) I would highly recommend this place to anyone who's sick of being taken advantage of by unscrupulous car mechanics.

everything done when promised as expected.

Per the recommendation of my neighbor, I called Dolar's Automotive on Friday, 13 May 2011 and set up an appointment for Monday, 16 May 2011. The receptionist told be to drop off the car at 7:00 am on that Monday. On that date, I dropped off the car. I received a follow-up call at 10:00 am that same day. I was told what needed to be done and what it would cost $750 + tax). Previously a car dealer service representative told me I need a completely new A/C system costing $1900. I agreed to the price and told him to do the work. I was called the next day, Tuesday, 17 May and told it was ready. I picked the car up and the price was just as was previoulsy stated.
