CDI/THE AFFORDABLE HANDYMAN

A man from The Affordable Handyman came and gave me an estimate of $375 to do the painting if the cinder blocks. We had set up the day he was to come at that time. While I was at the paint store, I wanted to double check the amount of paint I would need and was informed that the man no longer worked for them. A second man then came out and gave me an estimate of $700 for the same job. I told him to forget it. I'm glad I had to call about the paint; otherwise, I'm afraid I would have been stuck with a bill nearly double what I had been quoted.

I would say they are the best handymen in Vegas. They stay to explain everything to you even if they have other appointments after you and they make sure everything they do is precise. He gave me an estimate that was right on and he didn t add anything to it.

The original estimator was nice and provided an estimate in line with another company. However, shortly after this initial meeting, he was fired by the company, rehired, and fired again. The workers that were sent out were condescending and unwilling to listen when I pointed out that things were not progressing as planned. They became irate when I refused to pay them that day for the day's work, even though it was not to specifications. It was an overall bad experience. They did not arrive when promised and did not call to identify that they were not coming. The owners of the company seemed to change multiple times and each call was met with animosity and resistance.
