Description of Work: I had a dryer that would not dry. The company came the day after I called and came to the house when they said they would. The repairman appeared to be competent. Overall, I was pleased. So far, it is still working.

Description of Work: whirlpool du945 dishwasher. Pump and motor had failed. Service rep installed new pump and motor in an adequate manner. |Company is very paranoid about missed appointments. I had to confirm the same appointment 2-3 times. It was very annoying. The company canceled 1 appointment with no explanation.

Description of Work: My washer needed an new pump. They were early for the appointment after calling to insure the earlier arrival wold be ok with us. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Description of Work: Man came for 49.95 service call. I told him on the phone that the icemaker wasn't working,yet he brought no parts. He said that the part alone would cost $400. When we hesitated, he said that he found one for $300. We sent him on his merry way. I bought the same part for $112. And installed it myself with a little help from You Tube, in 5 minutes. It took removing and replacing one screw. I am a 66 year old woman with no refrigerator repair experience. Old people are old but not stupid! I know you need to make a profit, but don't insult our intelligence!

Description of Work: My refrigerator broke on a Sunday morning. I called the co. At 8:30am. The dispatcher was very courteous and prompt. They dispatched a repairman within a few hours and took care of my repair immediately. I would certainly recommend them and use them again.

Description of Work: Replaced a" thermal cut-off/cavity" in my spacemaker xl1800 microwave. Parts= $48.00. Labor=$150.00 Joey was my tech and he was VERY professional,expert at his job.I appreciated the quality of his work.Find young man.... one,whom we can be proud of today.

Description of Work: This is my first experience with Angie's List. I contacted Appliance Repair Experts for an estimate on my diswasher for repairs. I requested that I be contacted between 8:00 am and noon. I was called at 8:40 am by Wayne and told he would be there in 20 min. He was very punctual and kind. I was told that my dishwasher needed 2 parts and what the cost would be (which was in keeping with what I thought). I will definitely call Appliance Repair Experts again in the future when I decide to go ahead with dish washer repairs.

Description of Work: Our GE Whirlpool built-in over-the-range microwave failed on us. I took it apart, and replaced a 20amp fuse in it, hoping that was the problem. It didn't solve the problem, so we went to Angie's List, and found A.R.E. My wife had some minor difficulties with the scheduling lady, but we got an early response schedule we liked. The A.R.E. technician, MIKE, showed up within the alloted time, and went right to work. In a VERY short time, he concluded that the circuit board controlling the unit had a lead that had shaken loose, but still appeared attached to its connection point on the circuit board. MIKE reconnected the lead, tested its mechanical and electrical integrity, and declared the M/W back in service. It has performed faultlessly since his repair. MIKE was the soul of modest courtesy. He did his job, kept it as simple as possible, and indicated the $120 was the minimum call-out and repair price. We paid MIKE, and he was on his way. Excellent experience.
