An update to my recent Yelp! review. I set off the alarm today. Twenty-six minutes ago and still haven't heard from ADT. WOW! Sure glad there isn't an intruder. Received in the mail today an add from ADT offering monitoring for $27 per month; but I'm going to be paying $55/month -- and that doesn't even include two-way communication. When I mentioned the ads I get to the saleman Dee, he basically said those are just for bait 'n' switch purposes; no one ends up paying those prices. No kidding! Dee seemed like such a nice young man. He wasn't able to make it to the installation but did follow up with me via email a few days after the install. He asked if I was happy. I replied that I was not; told him why; and asked him to see what his manager is willing to do in the interest of customer goodwill and satisfaction to make me happy. That was several days ago. He has not acknowledged my email. I recently noticed that the glass break above the tub will probably have to be relocated when my plantation shutters arrive. It'll be interesting to see how ADT responds -- how much they will undoubtedly charge me to move it while ignoring my other concern. Buyer beware! Oh - it's now been over 30 minutes and haven't heard a word from ADT. Would have bled out by now had this been an actual event instead of a new user learning how to use the system. Buyer BEWARE!
