Overall, the workers did a good job, but the only contact I had with this company was when they were charging my credit card for a payment, then when everything was done, the lady called to see if I received my bill, which I had and had paid.
I thought it was interesting that at no time did anyone call from BND to see how we felt the job had been done or if we were satisfied?
My son will be doing his shortly, I really don't know if I could recommend this company or not. If they can't follow up to see how they did on a job with no mistakes or problems, how would they handle a problem?
"We appreciate your feedback and for giving us an A rating for workmanship. April is the busiest season for our business and we do not have samples to give out. We have several appointments a day and we cannot leave our samples in one house. Our foreman's and supervisor's have visited your property for quality control from the time we drain, chip-out, tile, kool deck. We have to make sure that one step is done right before going to the next, and this is usually done on the field by the foreman on each crew. Our accountant usually checks if the job is completed before making a call to follow-up on the invoices. We apologize for any miscommunication."
beginning to end. After 10+ years of living in Las Vegas and working
with various contractors, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend BND to any of
my friends. One of the best experiences, professional, punctual,
accurate and provided great advice to some difficult problems that
existed in my pool.
The second thing I took exception to was that they cleaned out their buckets on my brand new sod. This is not the first time contractors have done this to me so keep a close eye on them or you may end up with dead spots thru out your lawn.
Other than that they were quick and the new plaster looks good. Like children, they can do a good job but need to be watched.
One other thing. After the demolition and before the new plaster a super was suppose to come out and check the job. Somebody did come by but he never made it to the tub to inspect it. He didn't know that I was home and I watched him the whole time. The dog's were lockked in the house and the key was in the gate as was arranged before so that can't be an excuse.
"Member's pool had scale/dirt stuck to it. I demonstrated this to him by lightly sanding the plaster to remove it. Since member was not happy with my response, and did not believe me, I suggested he get another opinion. I suggested he call the State Contractors Board. The Contractors Board went to inspect to pool and came to the same conclusion. We are sorry that member is unhappy with his pool but BND Plastering can't be held responsible to the dirt in his pool.
