SILVER SHOE REPAIR

The 1st time I walked into the small shop I was greeted by a very friendly individual who treated me with the kind of small town hospitality that is rarely seen in larger cities anymore. They were very professional and patiently listened to my needs and very carefully examined the boots that I presented to them. They provided me with an estimate on the cost as well as the estimate on the time needed to perform the repair. I was a bit disappointed with the time estimate on the first repair as they took 11/2 weeks longer than they stated. They did an excellent job on the repair, however, and the they charged exactly what was estimated (no hidden costs). They did apologize for the delay and explained that they had placed priorty on repairing the boots of local fire fighters who were battleing local blazes at the time.
I certainly understood the reason and gave them another 2 pair of boots for repair. This time they were definitely on time and again the workmanship was excellent, cost of the repairs more than reasonable and exactly what they estimated.
