Our Mission at El Abrigado Animal Clinic is to advocate for our patients.  Our staff is dedicated to providing the highest quality health care possible for your pets.  It is our charge to recommend the very best care for them and explain the recommendations to you, the client.  We will then consult with you regarding the best and most feasible methods for handling the case. We appreciate the faith you have put in us.  While our work effort centers on the patient, if it were not for the client we would never see that patient. Our emphasis is on wellness and the prevention of disease before a problem occurs.

It is excellent. They send you reminders. They keep your records. The last time they give us an ID card for our pets and no other place that gives you a little ID card with your picture on them and besides the other basic like for the shots, the annual shots. Those were extras that little credit card for your pets. I used them last summer. He will do it every summer and the approximate cost of service last time was $130 to $140. It is reasonable. They have excellent service, perfect. They do what they are suppose to do.

We took our dog to another vet who practiced holistic medicine. He helped our dog for a little while when she was sick. After a while, the dog was not doing any better so we took her back to our original vet. He then cared for her and constantly checked on her. He even came in on a Sunday to check on her. We had another dog who had kidney failure they told us to call them. We called them when our dog was ready to go, they came to the house and put the dog down so she did not have the extra stress of going to the vet. I really cannot say enough about him.

Our dog slipped a disk four days before we were scheduled to leave town. He immediately began a battery of medications to get her back on her feet. We added treatments by a doctor that practiced holistic medicine. The first treatment proved to be promising---she began walking the next day. However when the alternative medicine doctor preformed a second treatment the dog could no longer walk. Dr. Cox took over, kept our dog for a week while he carefully monitored her progress. By the time she left his office, she was walking once again.
