Insurance Agencies
After going online, and getting a quote, I chose to go with another insuror. However, six weeks after I was on their site, they sent me a letter indicating their computers had been hacked, and my information (along with many other people's information) had been stolen. This was SIX WEEKS after the incident. They have since offered one year's worth of Equifax Credit watch monitoring as compensation, but of course, I now have to go through the hassle of signing up for this, and dealing with the potenial fallout of Nationwide Insurance's failure to protect my private information.
Don't get a quote from Nationwide Insurance unless you want to potentially have your identity stolen, since they obviously cannot secure their own computer systems. Clearly, you would not want to buy insurance from them for the same reason.
