I think they are a little pricey, but their services are good. They do good work, and I would recommend them. Very good. Fifteen to twenty minutes. They are very clean.

After months of our dog suffering with myasthenia gravis, we made the painstaking decision to put our dog down.  After two minutes with our dog Dr. K said that he looked fine and in good conscience could not put our dog to sleep.  Never taking into consideration what a difficult decision it was to make in the first place.  She made us feel as if we were terrible pet owners.  If you want a compassionate vet, this is not the place for you.  

Great! Time taken to go over results and discuss other options. Great treatment of animals by all who work there. Courtesy and professional.

VCA Town and Country Animal Hospital are very knowledgeable and give good service. The staff is excellent. The wait time wasn't long.

Making the decision to have my darling dog put down was very difficult. The person I spoke to over the phone was polite and sensitive. They were ready for us when we got there and saw to it that we had private time together. They also let me take my time after it was over and made sure I was all right to drive home. The actual euthanasia was peaceful and without pain. I am grateful to Dr. Heinrich and his staff for their kindness.

The staff and Dr. Hanna were wonderful and kind. They provided us with
lots of needed information and advice and treated us like capable,
intelligent humans. We especially liked the large waiting rooms and
exam rooms and the ease of processing. We look forward to working with
VCA Town and Country for all of our vet needs. Price included lab tests, 6 months of meds x2, meds for inflammation, supplements, etc. Overall the costs for everything was expected and reasonable.

We have two dogs and a cat and they've all been in to see her. They are expensive. The pets come out without being traumatized and their explanations are very thorough. We will be going back. Their establishment is clean. The only thing I don't necessarily like is that they don't invite the owners back to the area where they do the exams so we have to wait till the doctor or the assistants come out to tell us what they find.

The vet tech was upset that I might want to put the animal to sleep. She mentioned her uneasiness with my thoughts with the vet, who said "I won't let that happen." They really had a sense that I don't know anything about, or have compassion for, animals. Unfortunately for them, they had this degrading conversation within my earshot. I found that very unprofessional and left. We have used them in the past, but have now found a more professional location.

They are very thorough and reliable. I would use them in the future.

It went well and I have a lot of confddnce in the clinis, but it is expensive.

When other vets fail, Dr. Gutierrez has always properly diagnosed my dog's problems. In December 2004, my dog was misdiagnosed by one of Albuquerque's emergency vet's and accordingly given incorrect medication. The following week when he was getting no better, I took him to Dr. Gutierrez and she properly diagnosed my dog with retro bulbar and he received the proper meds for his serious condition and some surgery. In the last 3 years I was taking my dog to another vet closer to where I live for an ear infection and this vet told me that, "floppy eared dogs are prone to ear infections and you can 'maintain' the infection but he (my dog) will always likely have this problem. Finally, I took my poodle to Dr. Gutierrez with this problem and she told me, "Ear infections are SECONDARY INFECTIONS meaning he has another PRIMARY infection that we must find and treat." Well, as it turns out my dog was allergic to his food, which was causing his primary infection. So we gave my dog the proper antibiotics to fight his stomach infection and I changed his diet and he's been 100% better these last 8 months. Dr. Gutierrez is also amazing insofar she calls her clients personally to inquire of her "patients" progress . Given Dr. Gutierrez has saved my dog's life not once but TWICE, I cannot say enough positive things about this incredible veterinarian.

When he arrived at his veterinarian the day of the accident, my dog had trauma to his brain, heart, and lungs, was blind and deaf, and was basically comatose when he came in. The quick action of the veterinarians at Adobe, during the first very critical hours after the accident, contributed greatly to all of these issues being fully resolved (over time and in concert with services at the local animal emergency hospital). My dog could easily have come out of this with brain damage, and he didn't, thanks to the care he got here and at the animal emergency hospital (which I'll review separately). Adobe is pricy, but worth it, in my opinion. For routine matters, such as shots, by the way, you sometimes may have to wait a while in the waiting room. That's because the doctors will always respond to emergency cases first. Knowing that, I'm more than willing to wait a few minutes (maybe up to 20 or so) for the vet when the matter is routine. They also are great about returning telephone calls, if you have questions.

I really like these people- I have used them for years. Their professionalism is always above my expectations! They always have a sincere interest in all my guys, and they look right at me when they talk.
