Everything went extremely well.  The two workers were prompt, cheerful, efficient, thorough, and tidy.  We were impressed with how smoothly they worked together.  I wish all in-home improvements and repairs were as pleasant an experience as this!  My husband and I are pleased to recommend this business, and we plan to use Maddox again for other plumbing projects that need attention.

The plumber arrived when promised, immediately changed the faucet, and presented the bill in forty minutes.

I called Saturday morning spoke to a man called Jeff. At first he was courtieous and nice. I told him where I live and he gave me an estimate of 650 to install a new water heater with military discount. I have been without hot water for days so was excited to know that on Monday the 31st I will receive a new water heater. He called Monday morning and said that after checking my address the price is now 1000. He said it was 200 for the distance which was 80 miles. Call me dumb but 650 plus 200 is not 1000. I told him that I wish I knew this on Saturday that way I could have gone with someone else and not waited till Monday. He proceeded to tell me that I should be happy he even called to let me know. It is my understanding when one does business or will perform a service he needs to let his client know if he will or will not perform it. He was very unapologetic and very unprofessional. You should not treat any prospective clients so poorly and so ill mannered.

Why did our water shut off valve wait until Christmas Eve day to break?
We called our regular plumber and found that he was out of town for the holidays. We tried two other plumbers that didn't answer their phones.
Finally I remembered my Angies List membership. (I hadn't used it for almost a year)
Maddox Plumbing answered on the first ring and promised to be at my house within one hour.
Demetri and Kevin showed up wihin the hour and immediately started working. I watched as they quickly and competently corrected the problem. They were polite and accommodating in answering all my questions.
I was completely satisfied with the work. Imagine my surprise when I was presented with an extemely reasonable bill!
Maddox Plumbing will be my first choice from now on.

We called Maddox because of its Angie's rating.  We are absolutely thrilled with the outcome.  We bought an older house, and demolished it clear down to the studs.  Jeff from Maddox plumbing and his helper Sammy then replaced all the corroded and clogged copper pipe with PEX.  Wife is super-picky, and they had to do several alterations to their completed work.  They never once complained, they just made the changes.  Then they re-did all the above slab sewage system, including having to jackhammer out a lot of concrete.  These guys are wonderful, and we will absolutely. most definitely call them in the future to plumb our future garage and workshops.  Angie won't let me give A+ grades, but that's what they deserve.  And they did it all for a very reasonable price!

Found them through Angie's list and called the company. Kevin scheduled a walk around at my convenience then called me with a more than reasonable quote. His team showed up within the week and completed the work for me on the weekend at no extra cost - I work weekdays. They did NOT ask for any money up front -as is customary with contractors out here. I am completely pleased with everything.

Overall I am impressed with this company's work as well as the prompt and speedy service they gave us.
They did such a good job that a relative has hired them to do the plumbing work on a complete house renovation.

Excellent service, although I was charged the full pprice of 76.48 for 10 minutes of service. I did not require the service to air conditioner. Had already been done by a friend.

I have used Maddox Plumbing many times in the past. I've recommended them to friends and family, but I no longer do that.
We were doing a slight remodel of our master bathroom. We called Maddox to come install our new faucets and sinks in our vanity. We also had them install the faucet in our bath tub. The main work was moving the drain in the shower and extending the plumbing to add a new shower head. I called Kevin and told him I had used his business in the past. He gave me a rough estimate over the phone of $500. The guy he sent out was not a good plumber, in fact he was incompetent in my opinion. We had so many problems. We were having tilers completely retile the bathroom and the tilers were waiting for the plumbing to be done so they could resume their part of the job. Well, the plumber who came out didn't cap the line and water got all over our bathroom. My husband was standing right there when it happened and he admitted he messed up but when it came time to talk to his boss he denied it. Kevin stood behind him and said he was a good plumber (which a good boss will do), but we saw his work first hand and we disagree. We had to get out fans and hair dryers to dry up all the water so the tilers could finish their job. We were delayed by a day and we had to pay the tilers extra money for their time so they'd come back and finish the job that week. There are still water stains in our garage because the water leaked through the wall into the garage. When the plumber installed our bath tub faucet he got water on the floor. Maddox Sr. assured me that was normal and nothing to worry about. I beg to differ.  I was very disappointed that Maddox sent out several guys to install the faucets and sinks. They claimed the one helper needed to hold the sink after it was glued. We got charged for all the "helpers". Our sinks still have glue in them to this day, the sinks do NOT hold water (in other words the drains do not close when the lever is pulled), our bath tub faucet moves, the drain is very shallow so it doesn't drain right. I'm terrified to know what may be going on behind the tile where he did they plumbing work. Oh I almost forgot, we did ask that Kevin's dad come out to see the work and he gave it all an ok. At that time, I talked to him about our sinks not working properly and he said he could order special parts to help so that I could close them off to hold water. We paid a lot for the parts and they still don't work. They told us that the sinks would have to set for 24 hours but I had to call them a week later and ask why they hadn't returned. Kevin never offered to come over to see the work. He said he was very busy on a huge job at the time. Poor service overall. Our bill was $1,700 but they did make a few adjustments to our bill and we still ended up paying over twice as much the initial quote. Would I ever use them again? NO way...

All of the work was performed as expected with no hidden charges.  The plumber was running 15 minutes late, but did call me 15 minutes before he was scheduled to arrive to notify me of his delay.

They did fine. They came when they said they would. They took care of it according to the schedule they told me. I have had no complaints. I would use them again.

Called this morning to see if we could get someone to take care of the toilet tanks leaking into the bowls and refilling at randoms times throughout the day and night.  The lady who answered the phone was very polite and professional.  She had Kevin call us back.  He told us he could come around 1:00 in the afternoon, the same day we called.  However, he finished a job early and called us to see if he could come earlier (!), which was fantastic.  He came in, assessed the situation quickly and set to work, explaining everything he was going to do.  In less than 2 hours he had both toilets completely fixed, plus he looked at our evaporative cooler discharge hose to see if there was a problem (at our request).  He was  very polite, professional, and didn't leave a mess at all.  Plus, since it is Flag Day, we rigged up our flag holder to the banister, and it came loose.  As he was on his way out to the truck, Kevin picked up the drooping flags, and when we went out to get them, he used some plumber's tape to set the flag holder back up in the correct position!  We thought that was going above and beyond!

When I first made my call and spoke with the receptionist, she took my phone and information for someone to call me back. Someone called me back within one hour. I explained that I had a leaky kitchen faucet. He asked if they could come out sometime later in the week. I shared that my mother was going to have surgery on Wednesday (and it is Monday today) and that I really would like it repaired before her surgery if possible (to minimize the commotion around the house). He said they could try later this afternoon or tomorrow. I said I was free both days because I work from home. I got a call around 2:45 PM and they said he could have someone come out within 15 minutes to fix my faucet. They arrived a couple minutes after 3 PM and within six minutes of checking out the leak, they found it! They fixed the gasket by putting plumber's adhesive and that did it! Pretty impressive. Since I had them at the house, I asked them to take a look at my washing machine. The cold was not working but the hot was functioning. (Whoever set up my washer had mixed up the connections.) Jeff fixed this within 10 minutes. By 3:32 PM they had fixed both problems, given me a receipt for paying by check and were out the door. Is $80 worth it? That's something you will have to decide. To fix two problems in 30 minutes, that's pretty good. Yes, they were minor issues but now I don't have to wonder what's wrong and how to fix it.

I have been very pleased with him so far. He seems very knowledgeable. Even though he didn’t get the word that he was supposed to be there at a certain time, he was there. When I called, he came in like five minutes. I would use him again in the future.

e had an old reverse osmosis unit that we weren't happy with. So we purchased our own system which gives much better water pressure and saves money by using less water to make the RO water.I called another plumber he said he would have one of guys call me the next day did't happen so I came back on Angie's list and saw Maddox plumbing who a neighbor had suggested awhile back.  I called Kevin he said he would have someone out within a hour and 1/2.  Jeff showed up approximately 1 1/2 hours later.  He was very professional and helpful and had the new unit installed in less than an hour.  He said if we had any problems to please call him back and he would be right out to take care of it.  It is working fine and we will use them again.
 As a matter of fact we have a water hammer problem in one of our sinks so we will be calling back this next week as Jeff  told me it would be a quick easy fix.

It was a little tough to get one of their workers to show up, but when I called that about the no-show, the owner himself showed up.  They were very considerate about our schedule, and were meticulous about cleaning the area they serviced.  Very friendly!

I selected the toilet I had chosen at Home Depot, paid for it, requested that it be held for pick-up by Maddox Plumbing, went home and waited for prearranged delivery.  Service personnel checked by phone for convenient time to deliver and were prompt in arrival.  One employee began removal of old unit while second employee began preparation of the new unit.  Both employees obviously knew exactly what they were doing and worked together compatibly.I had absolutely no experience with doing a job like this ? except that I knew I was unable to do it myself ? and cannot comment on the price charged; I am tempted to give it an A or no lower than B.

At completion, the employees removed the old toilet, cleaned up after themselves, and took the old unit away for disposal.  Estimated  time for the job was close, maybe 10 or 15 minutes longer.  No complaint.  Would accept credit card but only with 5% surcharge added.  Paid by check.

Employees were quite courteous and attended to business at hand.  Highly recommended.  Already considering Maddox for complete shower stall renovation/replacement.

They found several not-so-evident leaks inside the walls of the home.   They spent around 4 hours diagnosing the problems and replacing parts as neccessary.  I was impressed with their thoroughness and price.  One of the broken water lines was inside the wall of the master bath shower.  They took care to cut the tile out along the grout line, so the tile could be replaced.
