Two movers from K&J were happy to do this, and for a very reasonable price. We highly recommend them, and intend to hire them in the future for any moves.. The whole experience couldn't have been better.

We were very pleased with the service from Chris, Julian and Justin. We had 3 movers and only were charged for 2, all were polite, efficient, cafeful and never stopped working, with no communication issues. The charge seemed very reasonable for moving one household to another. John, the owner (?), handled the arrangements well, calling back when promised, updating us as to moving during the shifting coronavirus situation in NM.

Hard working men, friendly, professional, they worked very well as a team, it was very impressive to them worked so fast and thorough. Can’t say enough good things about the quality of their moving skills.

The movers were excellent! They were efficient and friendly and extremely polite. They listened to our concerns and ideas and wasted no time getting to work. They exceeded our expectations. The price seemed fair but we were told at the time of payment that if we paid with cash we would get a 10% discount. We explained that if we had known that we would have visited an ATM to pay with cash. One of the movers told us that they are not allowed to tell us about this discount before the job is completed. This seems like a misleading way to do business and the only thing that spoiled an otherwise excellent experience.

They're great. They had moved a bunch of stuff to the new storage. They were professional, came on time, used blankets and etc to ensure that there will be no scratches and made sure that all of it are organized.

The movers showed up early, ready to go, and worked the entire time. The move, large items from one house to another, took 4.5 hours (astonishing speed) and all items were handled with care.

Setting up the move went well, John was friendly and helpful. The two workers that did the first truck load on Thursday, Sept 28th, were nice, respectful and careful with everything. The company did help us out when turned into it turned out to take 2 truck loads, so the same two guys, with one new guy came back on Friday, Sept. 29. We paid the movers both loads, right after they had finished each day. We gave the workers a tip, signed the last form and started unpacking. We were unpacking boxes as soon as we could, and many boxes were still in the garage. We started to notice that we were missing some items in the kitchen and when the stove in the new house stopped working, I started looking for my Coleman camping stove so that I could cook our food. I could not find it, and gave the movers the benefit of the doubt that maybe it was still under some boxes in the corner of the garage. By the end of October we knew that more things were missing, so we kept adding to the list. On November 9, 2017 I called the moving company and spoke to John and informed him that we had items missing. John told me to send him the list via email. So I sent John the email, with the missing items : Coleman camping stove, croquet set, bocce Ball set, Ladder toss game, Pogo stick, machete with sheath, margarita glasses, mixing bowls and a box of kids clothing. I also included a wall clock that arrived broken from the move, and included the measurements for the glass. I did get a call from the other owner Kash, but he mainly focused on the broken glass for the clock. He wanted the measurements again. He would then call and say, I have someone working on the glass, I have the glass, I will bring the glass by, we would schedule a time and he would not show up. The last conversation with him, was that he was bringing the glass by and drop it off. So as of today, he has not brought the glass over to our home. We are very disappointed that we have to deal with this incident, and that we have not received any information as to how we will get reimbursed for the items that are missing. The items were loaded into the moving truck in Edgewood, but did not arrive here at our new home. We will not recommend this company to anyone and would not use them again.

Everything went well. It did take longer than the original estimate. The guys who actually did the move were awesome.

I called to hire this company for a local move. They were due to arrive on Friday June 23. I called June 19 to confirm the time. I spoke to Kash. He confirmed the date and time. He said they have one job ahead of us and it should be around 11:00. My husband took the day off from work and was at home getting ready for them to arrive. When they finally arrived around 1:30 they took a tour of the house. My husband told Gabe that he knew they wouldn't be able to get everything in one load so if they could start taking the big stuff that we would make two trips. Gabe said that it looks like we're not ready and they were going to lunch and would come back. We waited all day and they never came back. Called Gabe multiple times and he would not answer his phone. We called K&J and spoke to Kash. He said there must have been a misunderstanding that he was told we wanted to reschedule. We said no, that is not the case. We need to get this done. Kash said he was sorry and would call us back first thing in the morning. 9:30am Sat he still hasn't called so my husband called him. Kash said that they would come by at 2:30. 3:00 came and no phone call, no nothing. We call Gabe several times, called K&J Movers several times and they would not answer their phones. We left several messages none of which have been returned to this day. I thought maybe we would hear from them the following Monday because the "boss" realized the job didn't get done but still no call. I understand if they got overbooked or if something happened that prevented them from doing the job but they didn't even have the decency to let us know or to have the nerve to call us back or answer our calls. We were left to to find a mover on Sunday at the last minute. We wanted to have our home in place during the weekend but instead we were left with these very unprofessional movers putting us in this situation Friday and Saturday waiting and trying in vain to reach them. They should consider that if they can't do a job then let us know. I hope other families that need reliable movers strongly reconsider using these guys. There is no excuse for not returning a call or saying "hey we don't want to do it." No problem. We found someone who did and they did an excellent job. I highly recommend Quality Movers if you need a reliable and professional company.

I had a good experience with them. Excellence. They packed up things from our house then they put them into storage. I found them to be flexible and willing to work with us. We had a job that was continuously being revised and they were very willing to work with us. The flexibility is a very good quality. I also want to give them good marks for friendliness and their willingness to work with us. We will eventually be using them to transport our stuff but we have not found a house yet.

It went very well. I have used them previously. It was the same two guys. They were professional. They went beyond what they had to do. They moved everything without a scratch. I would recommend them. They are really nice and they look out for you.

Excellent. They could do it at the last minute, the price was great, they were friendly and quick. I would highly recommend them.

It was a great experience. We actually used them three times over a week period as we had a large home to move. This allowed us to get some things put away before the next truckload came. They treated everything as if it were breakable glass. The workers were polite, responsive to our individual needs and the hardest workers I have seen in a very long time. If I have to move again, I would use this group again without question.

They were amazing. They were on time, extremely careful with the furniture100 and very courteous.

The worst nightmare. Movers showed up in a painted truck that had no company name on it. They pulled up smoking and drinking red bulls. They reeked of cigarette smoke, did not wear company shirts and were not friendly. My feeling is that they had a rough night before this move. They did not bring any supplies and used up all my packing tape to secure blankets around frames and furniture. No saran-type plastic wrap that other moving companies use to protect furniture legs, etc. was used. After only one hour, they had to take a cigarette break after I told them I had to get to my house closing on time and needed them to finish within the time that was quoted. They gave me attitude for asking them to stop smoking (I'm allergic by the way and I don't want my things handled by anyone after touching cigarettes). One guy moved everything out of the house while the other packed the truck. A shovel was left outside behind the house (for some odd reason) and did not get moved. Boxes were turned on their side that should have stayed straight up and all the boxes I bought from U-Haul that are the same size to accommodate saving space in truck packing were separated and stacked with different sizes creating spaces and gaps in between the boxes. We knew it was going to be a tight fit and I requested multiple times to leave the couch behind as I had someone who could pick it up for me and take it to consignment. I was told--"it will fit, it will fit." Yes, it fit but they couldn't get all my boxes and my bike in and left them behind outside the truck with my boyfriend who made it to my house from AZ in the nick of time for me to leave (he was supervising while I went to my closing apt.). The real clincher was then they moved my upright digital piano with a moving strap (unnecessary) and dropped it in front of me in the garage. It is not heavier than a regular piece of furniture and has been moved numerous times with a guy on each end. It did not need the strap to move it. The keyboard was top heavy and fell backwards causing the keys to slam into the case damaging it. It was an afterthought and was being loaded at the last minute with hardly any room to maneuver it around the truck and ramp. The movers felt bad and apologized but it was such an unnecessary accident for such an important piece of equipment--I am a musician. I signed the contract--and wasn't explained a choice in the types of insurance offered--I believe they only offer one even though there were two sections listed. Kash was professional and sent me a check for the item's weight at .60/lb which I appreciated but it did not cover the piano as it was a loss according to my local piano dealer. It is not repairable (no one has Technics parts anymore) or buy a new comparable piano for the amount reimbursed. Let it be a lesson to have any special furniture or musical instruments on a separate policy plan with your insurance company to cover the cost of this type of accident. The movers on the other end in my new state (who were extremely professional) were shocked at the way the truck was packed as well as the way they used duct tape which they said caused undue pressure around the legs of my coffee table. On a side not, my boyfriend reconfigured the back of the truck at my initial property and was able to fit in all the items the movers left behind.

They seemed
like they were extremely in a hurry, didn't place items as requested, very, very impatient, left cigarette butts on front lawn, sidewalk, seemed like they did not care that some of my items were antiques, glass, etc.  Took 1 hour lunch break and wanted to be paid for that time also.
