They are hard-working guys.  They got A LOT done.  What I thought would take multiple hours actually only took them a bit over an hour.  They only charged me for 1hr.  I did have a small problem with them.  I had to re-reschedule once, and they did not show up at all - simply didn't put it on their calendar.  They apologized and said they would come the next day from 3-4pm.  They showed up at 5pm.  The workers were excellent but the management had some scheduling issues.

Overall, the experience was okay. The movers were polite and, according to my fiance, worked hard.  I don't know why it took them seven hours to move an apartment that was 80% packed if they worked so hard... but he says they did, so I'll take his word for it.  I would have given them a C, but he says they deserve an A, so we're compromising.  I, myself, with two teenagers and with my bad back have packed out and moved a two bedroom apartment - with furniture - in less time than they took.  They also didn't have any boxes with them, so my fiance had to go and buy boxes from U-haul in order to finish packing.  What kind of moving company doesn't have boxes???  I'm a little irked because the entire reason we hired a moving company was to help finish the packing and, you know, move the things from one place to the other.  That's another thing, they didn't bring everything from the apartment to the house - they left an entire linen closet behind, not to mention all of the empty hangers, half the kitchen, and anything hanging on any rack (towel rack, coat rack, over the door rack, etc...).  Meaning, they were not very thorough.  It's a good thing we have two weeks to go back and clear the rest of the junk out. Maybe they knew that -- my fiance might have mentioned it -- and that's why they decided to leave stuff, but it's not very professional. 
Anyway, we finally got everything moved, only a couple of things were broken, which is to be expected.  I'd probably use them or recommend them again, but instead of taking the animals out of the way and getting the other place ready, I'd probably be at the apartment, making sure things were getting done instead of leaving it in the hands of a bunch of men.

Make sure you have all your ducks in a row before they arrive.  They commented on how well prepared we were and what could have turned into a two day move quite easily was finished in one day because we were so well prepared.

I liked their price.  I liked their availability.  I liked the care they took in moving the furniture’s and the rest.

I didn't like that they came to bid on me and I guess they were alright. They scratched some things.

They had an attractive price.  I thought they were good.  I don’t know if anything in particular stands out but they did what they said they were going to do and everything went all right.  They provided good service.

They were great, did a great job and were very reasonable. They were recommended by some friends because they did a good job for them; so that?s why we went with them.

These guys were great! A friend had accompanied me on the long drive from Michigan to New Mexico. She has moved multiple times for her job and has far move experience with professional movers than I do. She thought these two young men did such an outstanding job that SHE gave them each a tip in addition to mine. For me, K&J'z and their two young workers were a godsend.

All seemed fine while crew was supervised, and unloading into storage container went well as I requested placement of items (although as professionals, I thought they should have a good idea about best practices). When they were unable to complete task in timely fashion and thus required additional days of scheduling (red flag !!!), I had to arrange access to my unoccupied home. For some items that were not yet packed, I had spoken with not only first crew, but direct supervisor, with very specific information regarding dozens of boxes and packing materials, including packing tape, available for use. They used none of this (but of course charged me outrageously for their materials), telling me they couldn't find it and/or that the boxes weren't usable. Not plausable, because within the boxes they ignored were items that were to have been moved. Had they even looked at the boxes (many of which were, specifically, moving boxes), they would have found these items. My boyfriend did a run-through early in the morning after their final trip, and advised me that we should drop by that afternoon and pick up some remaining items. This was the same day I had reconstructive elbow surgery. Well. We endeded up completely filling up his large, heavy-duty truck, bed and double cab, with what movers had left behind. Random dish or two left in cabinet, box on floor, their lunch trash left in corners of home on the floor. They had to resort to garage because of "tossing" things into container without regard for fitting items. I am still working on re-packing and reorganizing this. They also broke an expensive wooden loft bed (no word to me, I just had to find it much later), and who knows what might be missing. I have moved an entire household to another state for slightly more than what they charged me. Next time I will be using a "real" moving company. When I called afterwards with complaints, there were no apologies, only excuses. Now I have broken furniture, am out excessive costs, and still have the task of re-packing and re-organizing (and moving to storage) everything I had paid them to to. A daunting task when working full time.

We decided to do all the packing. We were only moving 4 miles. The movers showed up on time and were polite and thoughtful. The snow was melting, so they made sure to lay down moving pads in the entryway so they didn't track water and dirt into the new house. They placed all of the furniture in its final locations. They offered to take anything upstairs and double checked that all furniture was in the correct location. No damage to the furniture. No broken items. Overall a job well done.
