DOs are all the good things you expect to receive from a professional, like prompt, courteous, on time. DON'TS cost. no trust from SEARS maintenance agreements either. They get over 40 plus years of Kenmore product purchases and do not honor the maintenance agreements on installations. SEARS lost a customer!!

It went well and was a fantastic experience ending with a functional kitchen. I found this company by researching Angie's list and calling some of the A rated companies for availability. Albuquerque plumbing, heating, and cooling not only had availability the next morning and had a coupon for faucet repair and home inspection that was half the price of others. Gary, the technician, called en route to confirm and again because my home address was wrong on the ticket. Once at the home Gary was a great plumbing professional. The job took about 1.5 hours, when most kitchen faucet replacements may take 30-60 minutes. No extra charge or surprises. Gary tried to call his next appointment to let him know he may be slightly delayed and recruited his office when the phone number he had wouldn't connect.. He respectfully entertained a few questions about a leaky RO faucet. He offered to perform the home plumbing inspection but I waived it due to his time, my needs, and my have him perform it at the next job. I plan to use Albuquerque plumbing, heating, and cooling for future home needs (hopefully with another coupon), and will definitely request Gary as the technician.

UPDATE July 8, 2013 Unfortunately the work completed in May doesn't appear to has good as I previously indicated in my prior reviews. The bathtub faucet is wobbly and loose now that the light silicone Scott applied around the faucet and tiled wall deteriorated and fell away. When asked at the time of application if the silicone would sufficiently seal and stabilize the faucet, I was to it would. I am not certain if it is lacking a split escutcheon to help stabilize the faucet or if a stronger silicone was required. I will contact Albuquerque Plumbing Heating & Cooling and provide the photos I took of the area between the faucet and tiled wall to determine what their action will be to correct this problem. I will revise my review accordingly. UPDATE May 20, 2013 Once again received outstanding service from Albuquerque Plumbing Heating & Cooling, this time from Scott who arrived promptly and perfectly completed the job within thirty minutes. Scott is a personable, courteous and professional plumber and we will use his services again in future projects. I am extremely pleased with Albuquerque Plumbing Heating & Cooling as so many other Albuquerque companies we have used, prior to discovering Angie's List, provided mediocre to horrible service. UPDATE May 6, 2013 Received a professional and courteous call on Tuesday from Albuquerque Plumbing Heating & Cooling to confirm my request made on the previous Monday to replace a kitchen faucet. Pete from Albuquerque Plumbing Heating & Cooling arrived promptly and installed my kitchen faucet replacement within twenty minutes, meticulously cleaned the area where the old faucet was installed, and took away the old materiel. I am very happy with this service and will use this company again for water softener installation. Paige from Albuquerque Plumbing Heating & Cooling called me hours later to set up an appointment for a free estimate. I also explained to Paige about the unprofessional phone exchange made the previous Saturday with what I learned later to be an answering service. She indicated that it would be brought to the manager's attention. My initial rating has been upgraded to a well-deserved "A". ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Initial Review made on Saturday, May 4, 2013) Seeing that Albuquerque Plumbing Heating & Cooling had so many positive reviews, I purchased the offered $85 faucet installation at 2:10 PM on Saturday and followed up with a call to their company as indicated on the Angie's List website. The lady who responded could not schedule me for service, did not have a calender nor knew anything at all about the $85 dollar coupon I had just purchased. I was told she only took emergency calls and that I had to call back the following Monday morning as she was only an after-hours answering service. On one hand I'm am glad I didn't get an outgoing voice mail with a myriad of menu options but on the other was hoping that perhaps I could schedule the service date on Saturday since I am employed with very strict time-off and constantly informed by my employer that there are hundreds of people in line for my job. I will accordingly revise my dismal rating upon receiving the service from Albuquerque Plumbing Heating & Cooling company. I hope I will be able to provide another "A" rating.

The representative was professional and very careful in my home. For example, he was scrupulous about checking his hands and feet after performing work to make sure he wasn't going to spread dirt around. He was polite and considerate when explaining what he was seeing during his inspection and in answering my questions. He wrote a report of the inspection and, at my request, made a detailed list of potential work to be done with price estimates. I explained at that time that I couldn't afford to have any additional work scheduled, and he was cooperative about providing me with information about repairs I might want to prioritize or wait to deal with. Overall, I was pleased with the experience. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for similar work. Since this was such a surface visit with no major work to be done, I wouldn't want to make a judgement about the service provided in an emergency, for example. I have a regular plumber who has done work for me for years who I would probably call first, but only because of the trust we have established over time. If I needed work and he wasn't available, I would consider this company a potential alternative.

They did a good job but I was kind of disappointed. They had one guy come out here and it was an old house and he looked at the furnace and didn’t do anything. He turned around and checked and inspected it and I don’t think he was a specialist that great. The owner came back here and said this is how much it will cost. I had to call him to find out when they were going to come back and fix it. The last guy that came down here was a sweetheart. He did the job in one day. He was polite and courteous. The first time they charged me service cost. They were best priced that’s why I used them. I have them every year to check my furnace.

My experience with them went very well. I use them a lot now. I actually purchased their plan. So, they come out twice a year. They do the heater shut-down, cooler star-up, and then, they come out in the fall to do the opposite. Then, anything else you get like parts, you get like a 10% off. It is a good deal. The first time they came out was for the water heater deal was at least a year ago, and then, I had them coming out quite a few times to take care of my air conditioner and heater problems. They have always been very friendly and always on time. If they tell me they were going to be here between these two hours, they are either here early or on time. I had several other guys come and work on our heating and cooling and water heater, and so, everyone of them is very friendly.

On the sprinklers, the plumber (Scott) correctly identified the vaccum seals as the problem. He suggested trying to clean them, rather than replace them, to reduce costs, and I asked him to proceed to do that. When the problem recoccured in the second of the two stations, he came back (charging half price for the additional time) with replacement parts (which he would have had to go get even if he'd done this in the first place) and fixed the problem. As with all of Albq Plumbing's people, he was friendly, polite, efficient and fixed the problem at a fair price.

They made sure furnace and thermostat was installed and working correctly quickly. That day freezing temperatures were hitting. Was able to get an appointment quickly.

Once he arrived he began immediately and did a very through cleaning and servicing of the fireplace. Once it had completed all required maintenance he cleaned up and was on his way. He did a wonderful job and t he price was very affordable.

It was a difficult project involving an established sewage system that we had to use simultaneously. They were friendly and courteous. The task leaders (Shawn and Anthony) are tops!!! I'm only giving them a "B" on quality because of the need to call them back out to get it reworked. Knowing the amount of time they ended up spending on the tweeking, I am impressed with how they stood behind their quote and work.

It took approximately three hours and I was very satisfied with the job Ray did. I love my new faucet a sink and have had no problems with them. I have used Albuquerque Plumbing Heating and Cooling for several years and have had a good experience on every occasion.

We used this company last year to replace a water heater and received excellent service. Therefore, I called them a week ago Monday to arrange for an estimate on replacing our evaporative cooler. The technician came as promised on Tuesday afternoon. He said he didn't have any estimate sheets with him and could he email me the estimate the next morning. I said that would be fine. By Wednesday afternoon (the next day) when I hadn't received an estimate I called to see when I would get the estimate. I was told that the tech was out "injured" and wouldn't be back until Monday. I then asked whether I had to wait until Monday for an estimate. I was told that she would check on it and call me back. I never got a call back. I waited until Monday morning (it has now been a week since my initial call) and called back to say that I still hadn't received an estimate. I was told that the tech would call me back within the hour. I again never received a call back from anyone. It has now been 7 days since the tech initially came and I have nothing. No estimate. I shouldn't have to keep calling this company. I've given up on this company and have called 2 other companies that are due out in the next 2 days to give me an estimate. I am very disappointed in this company as they provided such good service to us last year. I gave a C for professionalism because my initial contact with the tech and the people at the phone center were courteous.

They were on time, completed the work in 20 minutes, gave practical advice on how to avoid this in the future, and were friendly. I would definitely call them again.

I found Abq. Plumbing and heating online. They were near my home and I was price checking for a tub unclogging and sink clean out. After having Roto Rooter previously at a rate of $150 for one drain (additional for extra drains) Abq P&H gave me a rate of $85 an hour. They had someone at my home in 30 minutes, cleaned both the drains and gave a 90 day guarantee. (3x longer than roto rooter too!) The plumber was very nice and efficient. I would recommend them again.

Alex came out did some investigating couldn't figure out where the noise was coming from but said everything in the furnice was okay. He also did a carbon monoxide test done. Alex ROCKS, for cordial best of customer service!!

They were prompt in showing up, very professional to deal with, and did a very good job overall. The job involved installing a new evaporative cooler and replacing part of the ducting, and I am very pleased with the quality of the work and satisfied with the price. I believe I got an excellent value for my money, and I will not hesitate to call them in the future when I need plumbing or HVAC work. I was particularly pleased with how quickly they were able to come in and do the work. I called on a Thursday to ask for an estimate, and they scheduled the estimate for the following Tuesday and had the cooler installed and operational by Wednesday afternoon.

Overall, the job went smoothly and was done well. They were very professional and responsive to questions and suggestiins. I would use them again.
