We took a 6 ft. couch cushion with a broken zipper to ABQ luggage Repair. Joel stood in the hot sun with the cushion hanging out of the back of our car and repaired the zipper. We did not even have to take the stuffing out. His work on the cushion is perfect and allowed us to avoid having to re-upholster an expensive cushion. His charge was minimal - in fact he probably undercharged for his expertise. Thank you, Joel

It went very well. At first he wasn't sure he would be able to fix one item (a piece of light-weight luggage with a bent aluminum pull handle), but he gave it a try, and it came out fine.

The process went well. The shop hours are non-standard, so it pays to call ahead to confirm that they are open. On the other hand, the shop next door accepts items for repair for ABQ Bag, a service that I used. The bag was repaired within three working days and I received a call that the bag was ready and the price. I did not request an estimate, and that would have complicated things, as would a requirement that I talk to the repair person prior to authorizing repairs.
