DIdn't go well at all. We were lied to, and given broken furniture, and whenw we callled about it, they were rude and didn't want to help correct the issue at all. It was clear that they only cared about getting our money
Description of Work: My husband & I were in need of a new couch for our new home. We also hadout of state visitors coming, so we needed to find out that best fit our home and needs in a timely manner. We went to National Furniture Liquidators, because we had seen their advertisements on Tv on heard them on the radio. We wen there early n April 2011. We quickly found a couch that we both fell in love with, only problem was that it was the only one like it, that they had on hand, and it was the floor model. They told us that if we paid in full for it that day, that they could have a brand new one delivered to our home in only 4 days! That sounded great, because we did love the couch and with them delivering it to us in 4 days, would get it there 1 day before our out of state guest were to arrive. The couch was a double recliner, and the floor model was broken on one side of the recliner... My husband being the business man he is, put a fake leaf from a fake plant under one of the pillow cushions on the floor model He is always doing things to make sure he doesn't get ripped off. Well just 2 days later , instead of the 4 days they told us, they showed up at our home with the 'new' couch, My husband was at work, I was there alone with our 1 year old son. When they brough the 'new' couch, it was wrapped in surran wrap. I thought nothing of it, I wasn't aware of how new couches, or couches period are packaged, if at all. When My husband came home, he sat down and tried to pull out the recliners, and immediately noticed that the end was broken, just like the floor model at their store. So he then lifted the cushion, and there was the fake leaf from the plant he had put there, the day we were in their store. So we called them to inform them that it was broke, they tried to tell us that we must have done something to it, then my husband explained to them how he had placed the lead under the cushion the day we were there, and this one also had the same leaf under the cushion. They promised to have the acutal new couch to us 2 days later, on the origianl promise date.Well our out of state company came to visit, and we were left with no new couch. We had the floor model that was broken, but we didn't sit on it because it was broke. We called every 2 days or so to get an update and see when our new couch would arrive. Finally after 2 months we got an actual new couch.we will never use them again for any furniture needs. They were dishonest, and rude to every point. I have googled them, and checked them out on BBB sites, and they have several complaints just like ours from other customers. Don't go to them for any furniture. They are not trust worthy, and if you look up all their other complaints you will see how they lie and sale broken furniture all the time.
