We were having a problem with critter noises in our attic, blunting our ability to sleep through the night. We contacted several companies, but Atticrawl was the first to respond & offered a free inspection & evaluation. When Joe came, we were immediately struck by his professionalism & his knowledge. His eval showed a LOT more than the birds who decided to nest & have babies up there! We don't use the space, so it had basically not been looked at in 17 years. Joe noted the insufficient insulation, the damage from water, the mouse tunnels from previous infestations, some mold growth, and the lack of sealing of cracks and other entry points, including the one that the sparrows got through. So when Joe managed to get us on the schedule two days later at a significant discount, we made the difficult decision to go ahead with the project, despite the craziness in the world due to Covid-19. Fernando & his crew came and were quick, efficient, respectful of our space & thorough. Just as Joe had done 2 days prior, we were given pictures of the job throughout the day, waiting for our approval to continue to next steps. They guys went over and above, sealing entry points with mesh & foam that we didn't even see on Monday. You will find this a significant cost investment, but if you need any remediation of your attic, these are the guys to call! Thanks for all you did for us!

I recently reached out to 5 companies in my area for attic cleaning. 2 never responded, 1 was abrupt with me and 1 was ridiculously priced. Then David from Atticrawl came to my home. Not only was I given a fair price, the work was impeccable. Within an hour of my estimate a team showed up at my home, treated my home with care and tore up my attic in minutes, removed old insulation, super vacuumed, filled all gaps, sanitized, installed new installation, replaced the floor, etc etc. Phenomenal work, workers and company. I had a really great experience with this company! Ryan A. came out to inspect our attic to provide a quote for the work. He was extremely professional and explained options clearly. Atticrawl was able to schedule the work even more quickly than I anticipated which worked out great for us and they completed the removal and installation all in one day. Their crew arrived at the expected time and worked diligently and efficiently to complete the job. They left everything as clean as when they arrived as well. Expensive but necessary and worth it. Everything was professional from beginning to end. The inspection performed by Mark confirmed my suspicion that the attic needed to be decontaminated and rodent-proofed. Walking around my attic was tricky because the existing cellulose insulation was too thick and made it difficult to see where to step. Among four other companies that I hired for a free inspection, Mark was the only one who was able to walk around and inspect the attic by carefully sweeping aside the existing insulation. He informed me the pros and cons. The major con was that the existing insulation (which was recently installed by another company, Coastal Insulation) needed to be replaced. I also learned that there were no baffles installed even though this was part of the contract I had with the other company. I had no idea. In order to alleviate the expenses, Mark called the office and was able to get me a considerable discount and waived some fees. On top of that, he was able to accommodate an appointment for me within a week of the inspection. On the day of the job, the workers came on time (it was raining that day). They all wore biohazard suits and booties and carefully covered the floor, stairs and furniture with plastic. The lead worker, Francisco, constantly informed me of concerns, showed me pictures and answered my questions. They finished the job within 5 hours. Francisco vacuumed my stairs and the crew was sweeping my front yard at the end of the day. Mark also returned to ensure everything was done correctly. I had to request a follow-up appointment two weeks later to make sure that the baffles are in place after one night when it was extremely windy. Mark was unavailable but Joseph arrived and was just as professional. He assured me that the baffles are indeed intact and he inspected the rest of the attic to make sure nothing was disturbed. If you need peace of mind for an expensive but necessary home improvement, then Atticrawl is definitely worth it.

Joe Manee came out to do the estimate for attic and crawl space cleaning for a small bungalow on the same property as the main house. There is only outside access to the attic, so no one ever goes up there unless there's a heating or A/C problem, and there is currently no one living there. Joe took lots of pictures which showed that animals had gotten into the attic, left seeds and droppings, and there was one old mouse carcass (yuck). The crawl space showed evidence that mice had gotten in. And there was one large pile of debris on a side roof near a downspout which apparently was raccoon droppings. Joe was such a pleasure to deal with! He gave me his honest opinions on what should be done to correct the problems. I really appreciated the time that he spent in answering all of my questions. Francisco and his team came out to do the work. They removed all debris and old insulation from the crawl space and attic. They vacuumed the attic and disinfected the attic and crawl space. They replaced a mesh screen that another company had installed (termite company) due to a prior problem of squirrels getting into the attic. Joe had noted that the other company had installed what looked to be regular window screen mesh instead of galvanized metal, and an animal (probably a raccoon) had torn right through it. Francisco and his team installed proper mesh, sprayed foam insulation where needed to seal air gaps and pipes (and some sections in the crawl space where there were cracks in the foundation mortar and you could see light coming in), installed baffles for proper air flow, and installed new R-30 insulation in the attic. And they removed the raccoon debris from the roof. Francisco showed me before and after pictures and kept me in the loop with what he was doing. He and his team were also a pleasure to deal with! I would hire Atticrawl again in a heartbeat!

The estimator Ryan was very professional and diligent. He provided a detailed estimate of the work required and scheduled the job promptly. He took a lot of pictures of the attic damage, which proved to be very useful for our insurance claim. The work crew, led by Marlin, arrived on time and were very courteous and efficient. Mark responded to my call in March and that day came out to inspect and issue a quote. All in price per sq ft was in line with what I researched on line for similar work. Called with less than a weeks notice to schedule work to align with other workmen coming to my house. Team accommodated and arrived at 8:30 AM and quickly covered doors walls steps furniture and hallway with plastic to protect against dust or damage. Edwin and team of 4 others worked non stop completing work about 6 hours later. Team cleaned up debris and vacuumed the floors and ensured no trash left in the yard. This is hot messy work but Edwin kept me informed of what they were doing and the team did a great job. I expect this work to last the next 30 years but would recommend Atticrawl to others considering similar work.

It went great. They responded to my call quickly to come out and provide an estimate. The access to the attic required climbing a ladder which I did not want to do. Mark took pictures to show me the problem and provided a price for the job. Their crew was able to come out within 2 days and completed all of the work in one day. They were professional and left my house cleaner than when they arrived. I have great confidence in recommending them to anyone.

Manuel and the three other members of his crew arrived at 9:30 a.m. and worked straight through until 6:30 p.m. That's four guys working for nine hours, not even counting all the time they spent on the road to get here and get back. They are awesome, and I can't speak more highly of them. They worked incredibly hard, removed tons of gross, old insulation from our attic, and cleaned and disinfected. They lifted the floorboards and sucked out all the old stuff using a giant vacuum cleaner. We have a furnace in the attic with a lot of venting coming in and out of it, so I was amazed at how thoroughly they removed and replaced insulation around extremely difficult to reach areas. The whole house feels cleaner now, and our furnace is cycling on with much less frequency. All set for winter! For anyone considering calling them up, I can assure you that the workers will not disappoint. They are thorough and professional. They cover your floors in plastic and they clean up after themselves. They are polite and respectful and really could not work harder. I will say that the initial consultation (prior to the workers coming) had me apprehensive. I felt some pressure to make my mind up quickly, as the tech implied that if I didn't take an opening that was in three days' time, I might have to wait until January. Also the price started really high and then came down as I hesitated until I finally agreed. I personally don't like this kind of sales pitch, because I want to be offered a fair price immediately that is non-negotiable. It left me feeling that the price might have come down further still. And the pitch that I'm getting an amazing deal because the salesperson is discounting the original quoted price makes me feel I'm getting played. Still, the price I ended up paying was worth it in the end. I just wish the workmen saw more of that money than they probably do.
