Todd, the estimator, arrived at my house and gave me a competitive quote. We didn't need a new furnace so the AC system was the only thing needed. The replacement process went well and it only took a half day. The installers arrived on time and were professional and polite. I always appreciate it when people working at my home arrive on time! I would highly recommend Fante's.

Jose was on time, and reasonably priced. He was friendly and efficient. Excellent service.

Great response, called Friday afternoon as basement was waterlogged. They came to the house within the hour, and began to drain the tank. After discussing pricing etc, agreed to the job. They were done w/i 2 hours. Fabulous service! I gave them a B on pricing b/c I thought it was high, but I did not have time to comparison shop - I needed the work done immediately.

We just bought our home a month ago and when we moved in the AC went out. We have several estimate ranging from $10,000- $5500. We really wanted to go with a quality brand name so we were happy when we saw that Fantes uses Lennox products. We found out about Fantes while at our local Costco. We expalined to the woman in the sale booth our situation and that I was 5 months preganant, and was dying for A/C and she was able to get their representative to our home that afternoon for a quote (on a Saturday might I add). The sales representative (Bob, I believe his name was) was very through and was able to give us an amazing deal. He was also able to get someone out to do the install that Monday!

Service was never rendered do to the inadequate process of getting a quote. They lost a customer.

I called the office and asked to have someone come out to my house to provide me with an estimate for some plumbing work. I was told that there would be a $75 charge just to provide the estimate. So, if I decided to get another plumber, I would have been out the $75. I advised the person that I was not interested. I have gotten estimates from other contractors for work before and never been charged for one. This is ridiculous... I understand it takes time to provide the estimates but that's the nature of their work.

It went very well. Matt came in, examine the area and told us what was wrong. Told us he had the part in the truck, quote the price and complete the work within 15 minutes.

No problem from start to finish. They were punctual, removed old equipment and explained the operation of the new system.

I must begin by saying that I don't usually write reviews (this is my first on AL) because, normally, most work simply meets my bare minimum expectations. I feel that earns a "C" or "B" rating, which means the company did an ok job for an ok price. But this is exactly why I'm writing this review...because Fante's EXCEEDED my expectations, and that's what earns an "A" in my book. I had about 5 estimates done for what was a major job and major expense for me. Fante's not only had one of the most reasonable quotes, but they returned several calls to make adjustments to the contract. (You must understand that I've been burned several times by verbal promises so now I insist on everything in writing.) After several alterations and additions to the contract, we signed, and Fante's workers came out in about a week. They were great. They showed up on time every day as they had promised (and I know that alone should earn "A" reviews these days!) and worked quickly and efficiently. They were clean, professional, and finished the work in 3 days. Even when one of the employees installed the new thermostat too low on the wall (the previous one had been handicap accessible), I made mention of it and the head worker immediately moved it up to the appropriate eye-level. He was friendly and amicable, something I really appreciate in any worker who comes into my home. Overall, the experience was great, including everyone from the girl who helped make the appointment, to the guys who came to do the work. Great job! UPDATE (January 2015): So we decided we wanted a "fancy" thermostat that would allow us to adjust the settings while we were out of the house. We originally bought a WiFi attachment, but the technician who came to help us program it said that for the same price, he could replace the "older" thermostat with a new thermostat. I was happy as a clam! He installed it quickly and took some time to show us how to set up the program. I also had a question about different temperature zones in the house, and he showed me how to increase the fan intensity to compensate for the temperature fluctuations. Rich is a great asset to the company. He, too, was friendly, knowledgeable, and kind. A definite referral by us!

The entire project was completed in one day. Technicians showed up on time. They were very respectful, to include taking care in the house of floors, walls and carpeting. Very professional job! Completely satisfied with the workmanship. The technicians provided a complete operational training on the unit, thermostat and filter requirements. I would recommend this company for all your HVAC and plumbing needs.

Except for an issue with a subcontractor of Fantes (one that disposes of old oil tanks) everything was good and we are now enjoying the new furnace and hot water heater.

They are the biggest in the area and they have the 24 hour on-call 7 day a week service that you can rely on. I like their reliability and their size.

They did a fantastic job! I discovered at 730 on a Sunday morning (the same day I was due to leave for a vacation) water on the floor of my utility room. I called them, was told a plumber would call back once he got in. He called within 30 minutes, was at my house by 830, and was completely done with the job by 1030! Which meant I only had to delay my vacation by an hour. He was very professional, also discovering that the chimney was not up to code (which he fixed). He was very nice and answered all my questions. On top of everything else, when I had priced out an estimate of how much it would cost before I called them, I expected to spend about $1500 (especially getting this done on a Sunday morning); it was less than $1000. This is the first time I've needed a plumber since moving here, but I'll definitely be using this company again!

It went perfectly. After a couple trips to my house (at no charge) to figure out the details, they were able to arrange installation even when I wasn't home. I was 100% happy with the installation and the price. I will use them again for any further HVAC and plumbing issues.

The work has been sufficient and I chose this provider because of the initial price.

Purchased a HVAC system through Costco; Fante's was the contracted installer. Price (after discounts and rebates) was the best among 5 other quotes. Scheduling was easy. The team that did the install was polite, clean and efficient. Work was completed in 3/4 of a day. Fante's team registered the equipment and handled all paperwork for rebates.

He showed up within the time frame stated. Checked the unit inside and out, cleaned the coils and left.

I spent about $8000. They were very good, very helpful and very responsive.

Thought we'd decided on another (good) HVAC company. Then read a review on another site about a customer's good experience with heater/ac program offered by Fante's through Costco. Price was slightly higher than another estimate, but was balanced by rebates, at that time. Products are reputable and of good quality. Installations required some innovations, since the newer system was more complex than the original old system. Installers seem to have figured out what to do. Needed a couple small amendments after installation--one situation may have been a fluke resulting from all the very unusual extreme winter weather. Ordered an AC cover, but the product was too small. No problem--the proper size was reordered and delivered. So far, no insurmountable problem with the company.

I emailed them of what I needed done and since I didn't hear back from them I called. During our call I was put on hold and the call was lost. I waited 30 minutes expecting a callback since they lost my call but they never called so I called back. I told them again what I needed done and was told that someone would call me back in 10 minutes. I waited two hours and called them back since they never called me back. When I called back I was transferred to another person who was given the wrong info on what I wanted done. I explained to them a fourth time what I needed done and was told that they would get back to me by close of business day. Two days later and still waiting for their call. Since they can't even get my call or info on what I need done right, I've decided to go elsewhere. For the record, I only needed a grinder pump installed in a new home, not like I was asking them to plumb the space station. Glad I chose to go elsewhere.

We had 3 quotes. Kevin not only looked at every room and took measurements, but asked to see the attic, walked around in the attic...something no one else did, looked in the ceiling in the basement, and tried to give us the best solutions to the problem that we are having. He was patient, intelligent and was able to explain not only what our problem was but why it was in terms that we could understand. He spent so much time here I felt that we should pay him..lol. We are thinking about what he said and we are definately going to use Fante when we decide exactly what it is we want to do.

It was a long and tedious experience. They initially sent out someone who didn't seem to have much experience. The 2nd time they came out, the tech seemed to know more. They had to come out 3 or 4 more times. It was eventually fixed but it still seems to need some adjustments.

It went great. They were timely, and very professional.

Excellent customer service all around. Fante's was prompt in getting me an estimate for a new A/C unit, and (much to my surprise) they seemed to bend over backward to get me an installation appointment as soon as possible. When they could not make the initial appointment (as happens), they gave me a full days' notice and rescheduled for the next business day, which I know could not have been easy. All in all, a great experience.

Responsve, professional and reasonably priced. Would use them again and recommend them freely.
