My husband called Tino's on Tuesday afternoon and they were at our house by 4:30 that same day! They took the main board out of the Television and explained that they would have to diagnose the problem back at the shop and would call by Thursday or Friday. They called I believe on Thursday and delivered and installed the board back in the TV by Friday. Everything is working fine.
The price was reasonable and we even received a discount because we are Angie's List members.
I don't remember in recent times having such great service.

I went away to grad school for 4 years, and when I returned home I learned that my 2004 Mitsubishi 1080 HD projection TV wouldn't turn on. I knew the TV needed some attention and since it's huge, I wanted to find someone who could come to my home. I found Tino's TV through Angie's List. I submitted an online service request through Tino's website late on a Sunday night. John called early the next morning, and both John and Tino were at my house by noon (the promised time). They were very courteous and took the time to answer all my questions (I'm quite ignorant about projection TVs). They were able to identify a problem, but they needed to take the guts of the TV to their shop to determine whether it was reparable. They gave me an estimate for potential repairs but promised that they would call before doing anything. About 48 hours later I received a call that there were THREE problems with the TV. The poor thing was totalled. They didn't charge me additional money over the house-visit fee and they disposed of the guts too. I'm sad that the TV is dead but very happy that Tino and John were able to give me a prognosis so quickly.

Well, since I had to have the big screen TV repaired I figured that I had enough time to have the living room repainted since the "big guy" would be gone for awhile. WRONG! I called Tino's mid-week and they picked the TV up on Saturday. The next week, I believe it was Tuesday, I got a call about the repairs and how much it would cost. Sure enough, my TV was ready to be brought home on Sunday! Everyone I spoke to was very pleasant and knowledgeable and several months later, the TV is working just like the day it came out of the box.

(Realizing I echo many of the other positive reviews of Tino's...) The office returned our initial call promptly to arrange an appointment. Tino arrived on time, removed the "guts" of the TV, took it back to his shop, and called with a diagnosis and estimate. Two days later our TV was fixed - and in time for a houseful of people ready to watch Thanksgiving football. Throughout the process Tino was courteous, professional and the repair matched the estimate to the penny. It is not possible to give a higher recommendation than what I would unreservedly give Tino.

Excellent. I was expecting a high end price tag for this repair. I had paid many hundreds a few years ago for a similar repair and had to have the wall mounted set removed and transported to the "shop". Tino came on his diagnostic visit and within minutes was able to reboot and reprogram the TV to correct the tint. While tint is usually easily correctable via remotes or side buttons on the set...this time it was impossible. Tino, however, taught my adult children how to quickly reprogram TV and to correct tint on a more advanced level. Wonderful experience. Very inexpensive. Great service. Terrific find.

The entire process went extremely well. They were very responsive, professional and efficient. While this repair required a trip from Lebanon, NJ to Manhattan, NYC, I had a fully repaired TV back in 5 days (it was ready in 2, but I was out of town and couldn't take delivery). Would definitely use Tino's services again.

The lamp in my 50" Hitachi rear projection tv exploded and so I tried to replace it myself. After several attempts with lamps purchased via the internet, I was still getting error codes (indicating the lamp door was not closed or it was the wrong lamp). I knew it was the correct part and could confirm that the lamp door was closed...so I thought perhaps something else was involved. Calling Hitachi was totally useless.
so at 6:30 pm on a Thursday, I got Tino's number via Angies list. I called expecting to get an anwering machine to leave a message. Surprise #1 - an actual person answered the phone! She took my info and assured me someone would call me first thing on Friday. Surprise #2 - John (of Tino's TV) called me just 10 minutes after my phone call! John was extremely polite and professional. He took down all of my info and told me that they would come the next day. He explained that I would be charged for a house call ($65) and that from there it would depend on the what was going on with the tv.
The next day I received a call that John and Tino were about 1/2 hour away. 1/2 hour later they arrive. Both John and Tino are so good natured and professional. They figured out what the problem was very quickly (the housing of the new lamp was a TINY bit off in one place and therefore was not registering with the tv as the right part) and got my tv running within about 15 minutes.And they only charged me for the house call. You could tell that both men have alot of experience and knowledge.
Love these guys. I would definitely use them again and I recommend them without reservation. Wish everything that went kablooey in my house could be resolved so pleasantly.

I have a big screen Mitsubishi rear projection TV that started having problems after an electrical storm. It's processing unit got scrambled and would not stay on. Submitted an e-mail for service and got a response the next morning with a promise of an appointment that same afternoon. I was told what the one-time charge would be for the visit regardless of the out-come of the diagnostic. They arrived at the appointed time, calling me from the road to keep me up-to-date of their progress. They removed the chassis from the TV, gave me a receipt and promised to call me as soon as they had information. That call came promptly the next day with an estimate for the repair and an approximate time-line (6-8 weeks). The long time was due to the unit needing to go back to the factory to be rebuilt. Got a call back about 4 weeks later when the unit was returned from the factory. They made an appointment, arrived at the appointed time and installed the unit. The TV is back in working order and I was charged the estimate to the penny. Everything was done as promised. All appointments were kept on a punctual basis. They were very forth-coming with explanations and information and the price was reasonable. In the future if I have any other issues with TVs, I know who I will be calling.

My 6 year old 61 inch DLP TV requried $460 fix replacing main board. Thought about junking and just buying a new TV, but I am glad to get it fixed with Tino's. I joined Angies List just to find reputable TV repair service. The TV is good as new and has a new life. It has been six weeks and so far so good. They were very professional and gave me plenty of options before I decided to go ahead with repair.

I found Tino's (which has now moved to Lebanon) on Angie's list. An answering service took my initial call, but I was promptly called back by Tino's. They picked up the TV the same day we spoke, called the next day with an accurate estimate of repair costs and delivered the repaired TV back to us on the evening of the day it was repaired - total elapsed time under 48 hours. The two men who picked up and delivered the TV were polite, careful and nice folks. I am not only satisfied, I am amazed that this kind of service is available these days from anyone!
