Air Group

I have a maintenance plan with them where they do my heating and air conditioning for like 400-something bucks a year. They do quality work. They were quite honest about the pre-existing warranty that came with the equipment because they installed the equipment. They could have very easily just said they were going to charge us the full price to resolve the problems, but they helped us about it. They said that it was covered under the warranty because it was transferable to us as the new owner of the home.

Both inspector and technician were very knowledgeable and professional. I was able to get service quickly. The actual performance of treatment went quickly. All was explained to me on how it works. I was satisfied my new owners would be happy with their follow up service.

Great, prompt, service but ripoff prices! Initially paid 3X what it should have cost for a simple 20 minute repair to my air conditioner. The technician LIED to me about the cost of the part. He said it was very expensive, but when I looked it up, it was $10-$15 online. I saw the part, and it was generic, not name-brand. Also, the cost of the service and the part were lumped together on the bill. When I called the company, they agreed to refund the price to 2X what it should have cost. I asked about the hourly price for the service, and they don't have one. I also asked about itemizing the bill, but that is not their policy. If you don't want to pay too much, try another company.

We had a pretty good experience with them in terms of service. They were okay. Their pricing was average.

Overall it went well. Brian James was my contact with the company, and stuck by his word and the estimate.

Before I had a new system installed, I called Air Group for a few service/maintenance appointments.  They were honest and amazing professionals.  They gave me expert advice that I knew I could trust, so when it came time to replace my system, I called them again.  They made an appointment to come to my house and explain the options to me.  They helped me make decisions given my priorities and were patient with me as I tried to understand all the options and trade-offs.  When i decided on a system, they make an appointment to install very soon after and did so efficiently.  They were very careful with the equipment and made sure everything was clean when they left.  There was some minor maintenance after the installation and they were extremely responsive in sending someone out.  The person who came had no problem staying until he was confident the issue was fixed.  Every person I dealt with at Air Group impressed me by their expert knowledge and customer service.  Definitely will use them again and recommend them for service and new systems!

They are very professional and responsive, but their business practice of using their Service team function as a Sales team might lead to ethics issues.  
Each time they came over to perform annual service they would find something to fix/replace.   The last two time made me question their integrity.    1)  Service guy says : "It's not broken, but I think it will break soon so we should go ahead and replace it now."     I passed.    2) Service guy says:  "I think there is mold in the AC system and in the ducts"   They send a sales guy who gives me a $15,000 estimate to replace the AC system.    We ask another company to come in for a second opinion, they tell us the system is fine, and there is no evidence of mold.
