I would agree with many of the other reviewers' comments in that the quality of the veterinary care is good, but their business practices, staff professionalism, and pricing would benefit from a serious overhaul. I don't have any horror stories; rather, it just seems like they're singularly focused on maximizing profits with customer satisfaction a distance second. Everything requires an additional cost and just getting them to refill a prescription is a battle as they try to get you to commit to yet another "wellness exam" in the interest of your pet's health (guilt, guilt). It's exhausting, and it's also really expensive. I lived in NYC prior to moving nearby, and my vet in the city was less expensive (imagine that) and their office staff was much more pleasant to deal with.
I will continue to use them as I'm already in too deep and my dog is older. However, I would think twice before starting a relationship with them with a new pet. As I said earlier, the quality of care isn't an issue; they just need to reconsider their focus, ease up on their policies (they're not fooling anyone by suggesting that their practices are in your pet's best interest) and retrain their staff to be more customer friendly. With the quality vets they have on staff, let's hope they can do better in other areas of the practice in the future.
