Overall, the work itself was fine. No complaints there. The workers are very polite and did a good job of cleaning up after the job was done. The fence looks good. My only complaint is it took 4 months to get the work done. I was warned that it "will take some time because we're pretty busy" and "we're a small crew" but I didn't realize it would take 4 months. That's the only reason I wouldn't call this company again. I don't want to wait that long for work to be done.
Description of Work: Had a wooden fence installed.

Response from TALL TREES LANDSCAPING
Please understand my polemical reaction to some of the comments our customer left on Angie's List. I never heard a complaint about the length of time that it took once the customer made a decision to use our services. In fact, there were weekly emailed status reports showing their position in the queue. It is unfortunate that the customer waited until our busiest time of the year to initially contact us, and then waited one month after our estimate was delivered to commit. I would venture a guess that any other landscaper with a reputation for high quality work would also have a backlog of work. While we would like to secure every piece of business, sometimes our queue is unacceptable. If I had known that this was an issue, I would have addressed immediately. I thought that it was clear to the customer that there was a waiting list, especially in that I did not accept the typical 40% deposit at time of contract signing, instead asking only for $100, which could be refunded at any point if the customer had second thoughts about using us. I feel badly that the customer chose this venue to snipe my company. Comments regarding my integrity are most disturbing and the parting comment that I should hire more people show that she was not listening to me during our sales presentation. I have been successful because I am small and offer high quality work at fair prices. I explained that while many other landscapers staff up dramatically, I have found that my customers liked having the owner on each and every installation. Hiring more people would dilute that aspect of my business. In conclusion, I am sorry the customer was not more forthright with me so that I could have provided her with palatable options, up to and including cancelling our contract.

They did a retaining wall. They also do my landscaping. They were very good, cleaned up after themselves. The project turned out beautifully.
Description of Work: They did some paving work for me in the garden.
