Our company has been in business for 30 years serving the entire East Coast. We specialize in custom fireplace installations, both gas and wood. We also sell gas and wood stoves as well as several alternative heating technologies. We specialize in infra-red heating systems for semi-enclosed or outdoor areas. Gas,and charcoal barbeques as well as smokers, cookers, big green eggs, and hundreds of outdoor cooking technologies. We sell and install complete outdoor kitchens and custom made enclosures as well. We no longer provide serving for fireplaces and grills at this time. We have been featured on "This Old House" and several other TV shows including "Mancave". "We are disappointed to hear of your dissatisfaction with the service you received. After three in home visits, our senior service technicians were unable to find any mechanical issue with your equipment and deemed it an environmental issue causing the odors you were referring to. At that time we offered, as a goodwill gesture outside of our standard six month customer service guarantee, to remove your logs and exchange them for another piece of equipment (vented gas logs). After discussion and upon your request, we returned your logs for manufacturer testing where it was concluded the logs were without defect and in good working order. We pride ourselves on our experience and customer service. We would like to offer you a full refund for the equipment purchased. We hope this meets to your satisfaction and we would be more than happy to discuss alternative heating options."

They were professional, punctual and very neat.
We needed a tweak on a strip of molding and they were here the very next day.
So happy with our new fireplace and mantle and now if we lose power in a storm, we have a heat source!

The size/output of the unit was perfect for the room--nice and warm on cold nights, but not overwhelming blast of heat.
They marble/oak surround looks great.
I've had them back for annual maintenance.

10/17 I stopped back in the store and told them my choice and was told that someone would call me within 48 hours.
10/21 No one called me back so I called the store and was told that someone would call me to set up an appointment to check out my current fireplace and do the required measuring.
10/23 I called the store again. I spoke to the person who sets up appointments and was told that I am not on their list. She printed out my quote and set up an appointment for 10/28.
10/28 Someone came to my house and checked everything out. He was extremely knowledgeable and answered every question that I had. I gave him the permit papers for them to fill out.
12/3 Their plumbers arrived at the scheduled time to run the gas line and do some initial set up work. They covered all of the area from the door to the fireplace with drop cloths before beginning the job. They were very courteous and cleaned up when finished.
12/6 The newly installed gas line failed inspection because it was not grounded correctly and the gauge was bad. The gauge had to be replaced and retested. The plumber came back and made the changes.
12/9 The gauge and grounding passed inspection. However the insulation was inadequate (as per the specifications in the instructions) so it failed again. They came back and added more insulation.
12/10 Insulation was re-inspected and it passed. The insert was installed and hooked up.
The gas fireplace works and looks great.

"We called this customer to schedule an in home estimate and left a voice mail. We did not receive a return call, and this November period of time is our busiest. We regret not following up a second time, but frequently customers become busy this time of year so we left it up to her to return the call. We were not paid any money by this customer. We were operating on good will at this point. An F rating is not indicative of our general reputation. This customer is being somewhat unfair in her characterization of our firm."
