They did a great job. They moved us from a house to an apartment, then from the apartment to a new house. They were great about taking care of our things, were very polite, and efficient. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

We had Sinclair Moving come in and give us an in person estimate. They then emailed an estimate to us. The estimate was $2,000 to move us from a 4-room apartment into a 5-room townhouse. I thought the estimate was high and I said as much. The person I talked to said that he purposely gave me a high estimate because they would rather come in too high than too low. He assured me that the actual move would come in much lower. On the day of the move, the movers were on time and worked efficiently. They were courteous and did a great job moving and placing the furniture in our new location. When the move was completed, I was handed a bill that was already completed. Of course, the bill was for $2,000. The fact that the bill had been prepared in advance tells me that I was going to be charged $2,000 regardless. Of course, the movers said they couldn?t do anything about the bill. They were following their instructions. When I called the office, they said that I accepted the estimate and they came in at the estimated cost. I was happy with the service, but I believe I was over-charged and that the way they handle their ?estimates? is deceitful.

I interviewed three moving companies; Sinclair was a little more money, however, I am so pleased that I went with my instinct and hired them.  One of the reasons I hired Sinclair/Mayflower was that the salesman, Jason Reeves, assured me that they would unpack the items that they packed.  My number two choice advised that they would pack my stemware and Lenox pieces but they would not unpack them. (The reason I wanted the people who packed these delicate items to unpack them was to assure that they arrived safely and unbroken).  Three men arrived at my home at 8am, the time they told me they would come.  They got right to work and did not stop until the truck was loaded.  They were very courteous and helpful with last minute items.  They drove to the new house, got right to work, brought everything in and were very professional and courteous.
They did a great job; I complimented them and told them that they were the best movers I ever hired.  I called Jason Reeves the next day, even though I was surrounded by boxes to unpack, I had to take the time to call and let him know what a positive experience this was.

We've used Sinclair a number of times over the years (5 times in the past 8 years, to be specific).  I feel like they used to be a bit more focused on quality than they are now, but overall, they're still very good.
I contacted them, they knew exactly who I was, so it was good to be remembered.  They sent out a sales guy (not the same guy we had always worked with, he had retired), and the guy who came out did a great job of asking the right questions, explaining everything, and gave a quote which he warned was probably a little bit higher than it was going to turn out to be.  It turned out, he was right.  That was great.
They were great with checking up on us and making sure the details were all good leading up to the day, coordinating the time, etc.
On the day of the move, the crew showed up right on time and moved very fast.  It would have taken us a month to pack everything.  It took them a couple of hours.
They were very nice and professional during the move, and did a good job unloading everything to generally where we wanted it all.  As far as I can tell, nothing important was broken in the process (we have about half the boxes unpacked, the only broken things so far have been a bag of rice that spilled and a box of spaghetti and a box of cheerios which were crushed).
The only issue I can really say I've had this time is how they packed.  We've found things from completely different rooms packed together (living room and bathroom, for instance).  There were boxes labeled completely wrong.  There was a small garbage can which they took the garbage bag out of, tied it up, and packed the garbage.  Not the can, just the garbage.  There were a number of things like that.
Other than this last time we used them, in the past, we had other guys who definitely moved slower, but seemed to take more care in getting our stuff to where it was going, safely.  Before this, we had one lamp break, which they reimbursed us for.  That's about the only thing which broke in all those times we moved.
Overall, I'd recommend them.

They showed up in time , they moved quickly , and delivered in time , and that's all that was good ... They broken washer , and other items. And they only reimbursed me for 13 percent of my claim and won't give me the money that is owed to me for damaged items. Awful dealing with mayflower , |However Sinclair is very good

They were great! Very nice and professional. Took very good care of our furniture and items. Worth every penny!

The sales rep was very nice and patient about all of my frequent phone calls etc while I in the shopping around for estimates phase and even afterward. The movers themselves were on time and came prepared. They were efficient and careful but still friendly and able to put me at ease during a very stressful process.
Here's hoping things go just as smoothly with the national agent and the crew on the other side.

Mayflower gave us the best overall deal assuring us that furniture would be picked up and delivered in the same truck.When the day came Sinclair moving brought a 'local' moving truck and told us it would be locked because the over the road truck wouldn't be able to pick up until the next day.We physically went to Sinclair movers the next day only to be told that our belongings had been unloaded and would be stored in their warehouse for over a week which was just the way it was we got our belongings on the 5th of Sept which was about 8 days longer than we were told in the beginning. On arrival of our belongings here pulls up a United Van Lines vehicle the only redeeming factor of the move. The United driver was fantastic. Other than that one good thing the move was a very stress filled month.

They were wonderful and I think their price was good. I would go with them again in a minute.

I didn't like them. The movers were not professional and some of them were not courteous. They were rude. I totally would not recommend them. The quality was not up to the mark and as per the contract they were supposed to assemble all the furniture that needed assembling, but they tried to leave without doing that. I did ask them to do some of them which they were not very happy about. Removing is easy and there were some more furniture that had to be assembled and they left without doing that. I didn't find them any courteous. I would not use them in the future and recommend either.

The movers showed up on time and worked hard and fast. There was very little damage, only one small chip on the giant armoire from my last move and a chip off a dining room table leg (2002), both were covered by the insurance I purchased. I was totally impressed that nothing more was damaged - I had many delicate objects. I did pack my own things. They went up and down stairs like workhorses. They carried more than I thought any human being could. They were polite and tidy, especially for young men. I was very very impressed. I will continue to use them and recommend them.
